Why? There are dozens of straight up flame threads everyday that don't get whacked.
I start one that's purely for fun and it's gone.

There is little consistency in enforcement of site rules. Also you're an LSU fan so that's automatically going to put you up for extra scrutiny.

I honestly think the threads that are full of flames get left alone sometimes because they generate site traffic.

I think if it was purely sig/avy bets it would've been fine. Ban bets aren't good for business.

God forbid a few posters don't post for all of 2 months. I get what you're saying. But a better decision would be to maintain the quality of the board on a regular basis instead of whacking harmless threads that didn't break any rules.
