Quote in post replies

I’ve noticed an issue when quoting in a post reply. I used to be able to copy the next in the post I’m replying to and then click the quote button and the text will auto populate in the reply field. Now, that doesn’t work and I have to copy text, click quote button, then paste text into the quote box and hit ok.
It’s added extra steps that make posting on mobile difficult.
I trust that the great Chicken can solve this issue.

It’s more of an iPhone ios15 issue. Started happening the day I updated.

I use Android OS on my phone, but what OP describes has been how this board has functioned for me the entire time I've posted on here. Never had anything autopopulate. If I want to quote something I have to highlight the text from the reply and hit quote, or I can type the tags out manually and do it.
