I just find you funny. I make jokes about some members of the Alabama fan base but I don't delude myself into thinking it is a reflection of the entire fan base. I just get the vibe that you and Schwaaz think 99% of Auburn fans are in a cult and truly hate Auburn.
I'll admit I hate Alabama football , get frustrated with "gump" / sidewalk alumni that are trashy and Tuscaloosa is a shithole (but hey, so is Montgomery or downtown BHam). It just has to do with the rivalry. Education wise, I recognize and admire some quality programs Alabama has (Law School is excellent for a public state school) and even sports programs like gymnastics.
I don't think you can distinguish between good natured rivalry just between athletics and true "hatred"

Just to set the record straight. Auburn fans,while cult like in some ways, are NOT a cult.
They are very much like the inept wannabe political party members that were in the Blues Brothers movie. And just about as competent.
