Either way - I didn't want 3rd banned. I'm a big boy. But, I'm not getting into modding matters. I gave up my position doing that after doing it for a short period of time and I'm not going to backseat drive.
I didn't see the conversation as pro or anti Alabama. I saw it as a discussion on the team itself and the problems during the season. Everyone is soo sure it's Golding that needs to be fired etc. Ignoring that the offense gave up large amounts of points in turnovers. 4 pick sixes in our last 3 losses, combined with fumbles after not being touched etc.
We lose to Auburn by 3 points and it's not the 14 points our offense gave to Auburn that's the fault, it's the defense that gets blamed.
We lose to LSU by 5 points and it's not the pick six or the fumble without being touched, a 14 pt swing, that's the problem, it's the defense. 0 credit to how good their offense is, just it's the defenses fault because a couple of freshman put in the center of the defense made a few mistakes.
The more extreme people are towards hatred of Golding, the more it's accepted.
Much of that fueled and flamed by Boz. Anything he says becomes "the truth" and anyone who doubts it is wrong. But I can't believe anyone really thinks Saban would keep someone on staff who is as he describes Golding.
Boz claimed a "senior member" asked for it to be reviewed, and that was why I got the warning. But then I didn't get banned until I said I thought his rumors were bullshite, as I never said anything towards anyone but him.
He's not fit to be a mod and should be removed.

I agree, I just meant in terms of what I was responding to - the notion that only super pro Alabama stuff stays and anything else goes. I was certainly the one being critical of Alabama in that conversation, and I didn't get booted.
It's not a communist Alabama propoganda only situation.

I have no idea. Personally I think he got butthurt because I dared to question his insider information and he made it up.
Even the stuff I said to George was really pretty mild compared to things I say daily. Hell, in that thread alone there is another guy who repeatedly calls another person an idiot and nothing is said about it.
He isn't fit to be a mod and should be removed from the position.

Apparently that "personal attack" isn't an issue. But me saying someone was stupid and that Boz was full of shite on his "inside information" about Golding is just too far.

I've always been much more of a message board libertarian than most, but banning people for being mean isn't my thing.

None of it bothers me, and it doesn't really bother anyone else. You can find worse on damn near any thread on that forum every day of the year.
He banned me because I called out how dumb his so called "inside information" regarding Golding was.
Let me guess, the defense sucked again today right? Even after losing 2 more 1st round draft picks, I bet you guys will still find a way to blame the defense and claim Golding sucks. Ridiculous.
