I'm back! I want to go all award show and give out some thanks real quick:
To the Mods: Thank you for allowing me back on your forum, I will avoid cartoons outside of ones directly related to A&M or the discussion like Old Sarge or a cartoon dog. And even in those cases they will be Rated G always.

Vols&Shaft83 and Robert Goulet thank you both for supporting me despite the fact that I (in your words) troll the shite out of your people. The honest truth is I respect the crap out of Tennessee and I think the greatest injustice in college football is that yall are not THE "UT" period nationally. The only reason I interact with yall like I do is that yall have so much history I am interested in, but my want to know more goes against a grain of a fanbase culture that wants to look ahead for good reasons. I will play nicer in the future.

frick that, you seem to mostly make some pretty interesting and funny stuff. It isn't your fault that UT has been awful for the better part of a decade...the truth sucks sometimes. I personally thoroughly enjoy a good troll, even if it's sometimes at the expense of my beloved team's fans (and maybe myself every now and then).

I really respect that perspective. People say we can't have real conversations on the Rant but sometimes a good point can get people to open up.
When I think about it more the big question I keep trying to answer in Tennessee threads is how Dooley was accepted by the fanbase in any way. That hire shocked me when it happened. I was like "who is this guy?" And I Google him and he is at some not LSU Louisiana school being an AD (always a bad sign) and a losing football coach. When I figure that story out I can kinda solve the puzzle so to speak.
I don't feel like I am a troll, I just try to ask hard questions or bring up difficult points to get real answers. Too many people want to deflect all day, which is the opposite of real conversation. I feel my worst crime other than taste in cartoons is my the fact that I want answers to questions that some fan bases feel are too personal to disclose.
