Avatar and Signature images

Is anyone having Avatar and Signature image problems? I keep having error messages when I try updating my Avatar and Signature images.

Use imgur, it's free and just takes a few seconds

1. You're linking to the page the photo is on, not to the photo itself.
2. The images you're trying to use are way too large.
You're using:
(I took out the https:// before all links to keep them from autoparsing and showing up as link)

I tried photobucket and it still doesn't work. Wish we could just upload the images or at least get the hotlinking bug fixed so that those of us who are relatively new could at least get some kind of avatar/sig images.
