I am trying to put up a big fight about this. I think solid posters with info would be a great benefit for our board. When we talk about Roc, Casher or just about anyone instate, it sucks only having our POV

I realize I don't have quite the name recognition, but my post history speaks for itself. I feel like I could be a good ambassador for my fanbase over there. I wouldn't post in the recruiting thread, and I wouldn't use it to connect with "old-timers".

Right now we are just trying to get someone on to prove it could work. Since I am pushing this so hard, I don't think anyone will take me vouching seriously. I rustle some jimmies on our board.
If we can get people approved I'll throw your name int he lot for sure. I have always liked what you post

I withdraw my application. I don't want to cause any problems over there, and it seems like that board has some. Thanks for your support though

They are just being ridiculous. I am not sure how a trial basis is the end of the world since we can easily just kick any and everyone off if there are problems.
The Aubie board has a lot of problems in this down season. We have realists, negabarners, trolls (brannigan), sunshine pumpers and others that all go different directions.
Had it been an up year, we could probably all agree but right now there is tension amongst the ranks.
I'm going to assume I am going to get vetoed on the Alabama board access but I'll try again in a few months. Just sick of the SEC RB too many flamers and not enough views

Then please explain what you would want to talk about on the AU board. And please explain why you can't do it on another board.

I have no problem whatsoever with you being on the Alabama board. I don't have a lot of pull, but I'll try if the thread comes up
I might be wrong, but it seems to me that the Auburn board is becoming much more like the Tiger Rant than the other boards. It seems there are several Auburn board-only posters and it's pretty obvious that some on there are very defensive and borderline paranoid. I wouldn't want access if people there were uncomfortable with it. It is your board.

And if I'm picking up on this correctly, people talking about stuff other than recruiting in the Bama recruiting thread has preceded the Bama board itself. It's something that's not gonna go away, nor is it something Admin can control. Most of the people who do so are also heavy contributors of information.
Without them, it would be a 5 page thread of people just asking for info without getting it...

I would love talking football schemes and strategies and Alabama's is easily the most interesting to me. They just seemed to have it figured out. Only problem is if you posted that on any board not the bama board, you would get flamed like no one's business
Also, the SEC Recruiting board doesn't have a lot of usefull info and is just a dick swinging contest from programs coming from the basement trying to tell everyone how great they will be because they are recruiting at a high level.
I would love to get some alternative viewpoints and information about recruits from the fanbase who actually has those viewpoints and information
Honestly, I wouldn't be too upset if I didn't get access because I would only go on it and post 1-2 times max per month outside of existing discussion I am a part of

I think it's a credible idea in moderation with moderation.
Sometimes there's things to be asked that you don't want to start a thread about on the SECrb, ask randomly in a thread about something else, or have to track someone down specifically by other means to get the answer. Chances are if you ask such a specific question in making a thread, it will spin off into something else for whatever reason after it has been answered.
ETA: Though I have no say in the matter power wise...
