Jesus man. You'd think that the Georgia board is just suffocating and at the point of starvation in need of SECrant automaton fans from other schools, when.........last I checked, we are chock fricking full.
Dallas, Here are a few ideas in addition to your own...........
-Potential new members from other schools must be sponsored by 2 GSB members.
-Sponsorship leads to a board vote....on the GSB.
-If the applicant receives 70% approval after an allotted time, he is granted an INTERVIEW.
-GSB members will ask as many or as few questions as they want, and one of the Sponsors of the Applicant will then cut n paste the Applicant's answers from the Help Board to the GSB.
-Then, a re-vote commences.
-If the applicant gets approval from 80% of the members during the re-vote, then he/she gets a 30-day trial on the GSB.
-Any poster from another team (besides GA Tech) can be be banned at anytime by a vote resulting in >50%. If this happens, the 2 sponsors that sponsored the banned poster can never sponsor another one for 8 years.
***And for those of you reading that this that think we're taking this too seriously, you can kiss my arse. Our once great board is under seige....and is currently giving the death-rattle.

I don't make the rules. So, these are called "suggestions".
And personally, I've never had a problem with any real Tech fan on our board. And have found that the majority of them are more productive contributors than many of our own. Sadly.

Regardless, I'm new and I will do my utmost to fit in and not make waves. But the high level of tech toleration on that board has confused me greatly and even had me questioning my beliefs, religion, and gender. I'm slowly (s-l-o-w-l-y) coming to grips with it, though.

You really are too much. You are almost too hypocritical to put into words. You want an Auburn board-like policy that essentially keeps our board OFF LIMITS to EVERYONE who isn't a UGA fan. Well, sorry to break it to you, but you can't have it both ways. This isn't the dawgrant, it's the Georgia affiliated section of Secrant.com. You being good buddies and e-pals with those tech shitheads is no different than DGD, GH, and others being friends with people on the SECR. So what do you want? Your good buddies to be grandrathered into here and ONLY have people you like (which you'd shite a brick about if someone else did the same) or do you want absolutely no one else but UGA fans on here?

My opinion-
Take it, leave it, whatever. No one has really offered any ideas
up to this point. Dallas and Jeff have offered several. If it comes
to a vote, the vote won't lie. Rules and Chrissy could be subject to getting voted off by noobs.....frick that. Consider how many UGA noobs come on and meet those guys....it never starts with a hug

I gave Jeff hell all day guys, but his suggestions are more than anyone else cared to put time into.

I agree. I want someone else to start the rule thread where we vote on what should be done just so it's understood that I am now "chowderfying" the rules but this is progress at least.
