I spent a good deal of time typing all of that up to share my account of the recruitment of
(redacted). I'm just curious why the thread was deleted. Was it because he is a current player? If so, do I have permission to post my accounts of the recruitment of former players such as Courtney Upshaw and Reese Dismukes?

Yeah...There is no way to validate this is a rumor at this point. This seems more like first hand knowledge. Don't see why it was deleted.

100% first hand knowledge. I can give the admins (redacted) cell phone number if they don't believe the story. Also will be happy to provide Reese Dismuke's number to any admin who is concerned about "rumors." These are first hand accounts. I do understand the need to protect current players perhaps. That's why I'm curious if threads about former players will be allowed.

Probably got about 10 RA's on that hook.
If what you say is true, post it to reddit.

I'm too old to do reddit I think. I just wanted to have some discussion with SEC fans. I've read these boards for many years. I was looking forward to being able to post my stories during a slow off-season.

Carl is still a current player and this would be illegal therefore putting his eligibility at risk for accepting payments. Even if it's true, these things will get hushed as a rumor without proof.

Just think...Chicken's site could be breaking news in the recruitment world driving millions of hits to his site...
I'm sure Chicken will not be happy with this

This is similar to what happened with Gurley except there was video evidence. If you can't provide proof then it deserves to get whacked. I don't think people would have an issue with truth as long as it's verifiable and not just some guy on a message board saying things.

Well, I'd post (redacted) number and provide cell phone records, but I'm aware that posting someone's number on a public forum is bad form and would probably result in me not being welcome back here.

That's not technically proof. Unless you have a money order in his name or a check that he cashed or video evidence of him accepting payments....then all you have is proof that you have his number. It could have very well happened but it's still not proof.

I don't think anyone involved is dumb enough to allow those things to be so easily traced, unless you're from Oxford. I feel like the details provided in my story should be plenty of proof for any doubters. I'm not sure there's any way to provide more proof, and if there were, it would result in NCAA action that I'm not at all interested in.
Either way, I'm still curious as to whether or not my accounts of the recruitment of former players would be allowed, since they aren't under the umbrella of protection and potential sanctions from the NCAA. I do not want to put more time into threads that will get deleted or end up being kicked out from this site.

I don't know you so I have no clue if what you say is true or not.
What does sound odd is, why would UGA pay thousands (on multiple occasions) in a recruiting war that didn't involve us? Why would UGA boosters spend this money to intentionally steer a kid towards auburn?
If it was UF boosters for instance (a team that plays UT regularly but not auburn) that might make more sense, but as it is written it realy doesn't. If we were going to enter the bidding war, why not try to steer him towards us?

Might want to re-read....It was bama that paid not UGA. Not sure why he started off talking about UGA boosters. I guess because Jack asked for a favor. The guy is claiming to be a booster for Bama. Not UGA

The several thousand dollars spent to steer Lawson away from Tennessee is essentially pennies to the people running the show at these programs. We're talking about people who have personal assistants making more money than the average person on this board, and their only job is basically a glorified money counter. The wild thing about it is that this happens all the time. We're all basically connected and know each other. You'd be shocked at how often things like this occur. Boosters from School A working out "deals" with boosters from school B just to keep the player away from School C. I've been involved in 3 more instances since Lawson's recruitment that have involved just that. Only one of them had anything to do with the University of Alabama.

It was a Georgia booster, "Jack", that called me to orchestrate it all.

then shouldn't you be trying to not put all that info out onto the internet?
And again, you may be 100% right I have no way to disprove you, it just doesn't make sense. Whether he goes to UT or AU, we still have to play against him eveyr year. If we wanted him to go to, say ole miss or bama instead of UT that would make sense. But having to play him 3/4 times regardless of where he goes, just doesnt' make logical sense.

The guy has a bama logo but he said the UGA boosters are the ones that orchestrated this. Ya know, the sending of care packages that say "can't wait til you get to auburn".

Seems like UGA feels Auburn's Defensive staff sucks and won't get everything out of Lawson
