Like all of you (except maybe Finch), I was gut punched by the game last night.

However, I firmly believe our team will come out FIRED UP against Bama. We have the talent to win and unlike my friend Straws....I dont just blame the defense...our offense hasnt clicked for weeks.

Its not just Trask, the OL has been mediocre...even the WRs have not done everything they could. Its a TEAM loss folks.

I feel that Devonta will be doubled covered almost the entire game. We may a dime package a lot on third downs, trying to get the ball back. We will have to use Slaton, Campbell (who didnt play in the A&M game and that helped their run game) Carter, the frosh DT Dexter and Dunlap. We have to give breathers to the DL. We miss Moon a lot.

Like all of you, I was so pizzed at Marco....but remember that Malik Davis cost us the A&M game with his fumble and he has rebounded since. These are 19-22 yr olds and make mistakes. Look at Ole Miss and last years dog peeing incident that cost the Rebs the Egg Bowl. Just think if they would have cast off Elijah Moore?

We can second guess Mullen til the cows come home...he is the HC to take us to national title.

And Straws was totally right about Trask vs Franks BTW. I hated to see Franks injured, but it allowed Trask to be the QB we needed. I have bits and peices of Arkies games and Franks and he hasnt changed, still hot and cold.

Ive waited til now to post. But we need to chin up!!!

I was so mad last night, I was literally sick. That was unacceptable, and unlike a fumble or a missed field goal, throwing a shoe is completely a mental thing. The kid hasn't been the same since his freshman year, he played a decent game up until the play a couple plays before that when he "got pushed" but in reality fell down after the receiver ran a come back route. It just proves this team hasn't "been there" before and it was embarrassing on national tv.

The shoe incident didnt cost us the game...we should have been up by 3 scores by then. Believe me...I was sick to my stomach by the game...but I have been a Gator fan since 1962 and have witness some disasters. Losses to the dawgs or to AU were hard to watch. It seemed like a funeral for a few days but I always snapped back and enjoyed our good games.

If you are a true Gator, then you hate the Ls but love the Ws. Right now we are 8-2, same as UGA, playing ten SEC games and we can hold our heads up. Look at our recruiting commitments, we are about to have a stellar class of DBs join us, including safety help. The glass is more than half full. Remember that 2019 is a "free year" for the NCAA and some players may come back and play another year. Trask may be one of them...he might not get graded by NFL as a first rounder and he might want to improve himself in their eyes....who knows, I hope he is a first rounder. We need a much much better OL. RG Reese was pushed around badly and the pass rush came right up the gut usually....and affected Trask all night. He hurried a lot trying to make wine out of sewer water because of the harassment. Toney played his azz off. You have to credit LSU, they covered our WRs like a blanket and of course held, pushed and grabbed some. Speaking of the shoe throwing, the LSU DB Ricks should have gotten a personal unsportsman flag for clearly taunting Trask when he was near the goal line during the pick six. He slowed down and pointed at Trask...but I guess the seeing eye dogs of the refs were sniffing each other at that time.

And to Finch, I have had medical issues. My last post before last night was in December.....but for the grace of the Good Lord, Im still full of pizz and vinegar

Thanks, Im fine for the most part.

What I posted is my opinion and honestly...after a loss we usually bow up and have that determination to win. Remember the 2016 game with LSU that was postponed due to the storm Matthew...crazy azz cajuns kept on and on about us being scared to play them, we moved the game to red stick and were shorthanded, missing a lot of defensive help at LBer but the team was freaking determined to beat them and the last minute goal line stand was one for the ages. A wounded Gator is a dangerous animal

Finch, I remember that well. I am talking about most Ls. I have 58 yrs worth of remembering. You see the glass as half empty and I see it as half full.

Maybe we get blown out in Hotlanta by 60....but I think we come into the game fired up. Cant wait to watch the game.

Yeah we could win but winning just makes me more sad about what happened Saturday. The SEC Championship doesn’t mean the same when you don’t have a shot to play for it all. Long shot at winning Saturday anyway I guess.

The SEC champion has never been left out of the playoff. Won't happen this year either, win or lose.

I was mad at Marco because all game I kept calling him getting owned on third down presnap and sure enough he did. He is so bad, and it angers me to the core he is still on the field. It makes zero logical sense. He has almost no pass break ups, in man coverage his receivers catch almost 80 percent. He is truly the worst starting corner since Pierre Louis.

And the winner is Matt !!! Does anyone know that our AD is on CFP selection committee ? Gee how would he vote ? The SECCG winner has always played in the CFP....not saying we would...but hell UGA was ranked 9th with 2 losses. Just saying.

I was actually hoping that boith games would go just as they did with Bama blowing out Arkansas and UF winning in a close game against LSU, only we screwed around and lost. So be it. I am not even going to feel the least bit bad for our team when they do boneheaded shite like Wilson did.

That said, we can beat Bama, but I don't think this team has the mental toughness to pull it off. Not just Wilson, but just before that Elam was posing for the camera after making a play and our nose tackle was doing a 10 yard army crawl celebrating a play he made at the LOS.

These are all actions of a team with no discipline or at least in my mind not the right kind of discipline. That they would put theselves and their own celebration above the team is a sign of poor leadership.

FIFY

I get down on Sabin for his constant negativity toward his players in post game pressers, yet his “process” would never have allowed this shite. If Mullen wants to be on Bama’s level he needs to grow a pair and jerk a knot in these players.
His post game response to what he thought of the Marco incident was inexcusable.
“Did he throw a shoe? I didn’t see it?”

Well well well.....we only dropped 1 spot to 7th in the CFP ranks and if we beat Bama....hang on to your hats!!! A&M will be out, they lost to Bama by 28 points and dont have a SEC title we have lost 2 games by 2 FGs. Anything and everything is possible.

I think everyone else would howl worse than ever if UF got in with 2 losses over a 1 loss A&M who beat us and a 1 loss Bama that we beat. Not to mention other teams in different conferences who have less losses.

That said, we are playing for a conference championship, and even though we look to be overmatched by Bama, maybe our guys will show up and give them a game. I've seen crazier things happen.
