What Coach Sumrall has to do to give us any chance to go over .500 next season?

It won't be easy to have a winning record but if we get lucky I guess. This is the NIL era now and rebuilds can go much faster if you are smart with it.

1. Lagways NIL has to be reduced drastically. Let him leave if he can't deal with it. He should have zero arrogance like the rumors say with how bad he has played. He is an interception machine that can't read a defense so far.

2. Same thing with other NIL deals. If they aren't worth it or arent young with nice potential let them walk if they don't like it.

3. QB has to be addressed to have any chance for a non-losing season. Find a decent one in the portal if you have to. Our backup likely isn't good SEC starting material to be honest.

4. Salvage what you can with the signing class.

In the era of NIL if you can't go 6-6 in your first year at a bigger money school then there is likely an issue with the coach. The exception is when the QB just isn't up to par.

If all we are shooting for is 6 & 6 boy this more of a dumpster fire then even i could have ever imagined

How UF has fallen in football is just mind blowing

But when you hire horrible coaches you get horrible results

Being cheap will cost UF another 10 years of mediocrity in Football

Im not saying Riley would have won something here but for sure our offense would have been exciting to watch
I have no interest in watching the crap Sumrall will try to put on the field

It is crazy but with how bad Napier screwed this up and with 9 game SEC schedules I think 7-5 would be the first year ceiling even with a competent coach. I think it would take winning the lottery in the QB portal dept to go 8-4.

We love having terrible coaches in Football from the Sunbelt..damn I hate Strick so much now..fricked up the Lane shite, let Alex G go to Arky, now we are stuck with this as a HC..we will be looking
for a new HC in a few years without a doubt..and Scott will frick it up again too rinse and repeat. He better call Spurrier and have him hire the next coach in 4 years..I used to love CFB Saturday..now I dread it, because it is extremly painful watching us be so bad, but it is an addiction so I will watch and bitch and drink some Southern Comfort or Makers Mark.

I am ticked off too but maybe if he does get a decent OC he can do something. We will probably know for sure by year 2.

He is Napier 2.0. Look above, basically identical. I am angry now..don't think I have ever been angry at UF ever but now...I am mad at my University. Well last year I was, but it was mainly focused on our horrible AD.

I hope the pressure turns up on Stricklin immediately and he is gone by the Spring,

UF needs Woodward as AD

NO WAY WE LOSE KIFFIN IF HE IS OUR AD

Someone did some research on Sumrall on On3. This is what he had to say:

A few things I learned

1. He holds Monday night football. A practice under the lights for younger players just like urban Meyer used to do. It’s a chance for younger players to showcase for the older guys

2. Once a year he allows walk-ons to be on the kickoff team. He joked around that he prays that the kicker kicks it through the end zone because you really don’t want them to have to make a tackle. lol

3. Whenever he’s talking with someone about coming to his program. He asks them point black, “are you soft?” He says, if you’re soft you’re not going to like it and I’m not going to like you. That’s another vintage urban Meyer approach.

He says, “I am demanding but never demeaning”.

4. Makes a comment in one of his pressors that is offensive staff does a great job game planning and adjusting during the game. He’s not going to get involved with play calling.

5. On analytics, he says, “I listen to all that stuff, I’ve got a guy upstairs who’s in my ear about what the analytics say “but it doesn’t make my decision for me”

6. when his team started at six and one this year, he was asked how he would grade his team out. He said he would give them a C+. Lots they have to improve upon

I’ll sleep soundly thinking of these heartwarming Sumrall stories even after Georgia throttles us for the umpteenth time in a row.

Hopefully he is one of those coaches that doesn't press the OC much like he says. Sometimes the ones with the DC background like to go too conservative. We will see I guess.
