Holy shite..our MIL is that low...the hell. 7 teams just in our conference are spending at least 3 million more a year..damn. Very obvious Stick does not care about Football..we are officially a Basketball and Baseball school till we put money into Football. Today you will not get diamonds in the rough like Spurrier who are great at developing kids ...now development is pretty rare today, it is what can you do for me now basically with the transfer portal and shite....it is not fun.

It’s almost as if private equity and the suits got involved.

Yeo that list doesnt catch all the money from big donors buying players certain ways that arent public (some of them it does though I guess) but we will have 5 teams in the SEC that will likely have bigger player budgets most every year: The 2 Texas schools, LSU, Bama and GA. What is going to be real important with limited budgets is getting the transfer and high school recruit money divided a good way. High school recruits you are taking a chance with the highest ranked ones because many dont pan out but are expensive. Its still crazy what Indiana was able to do the last 2 years.

We def need wealthy alumni that care greatly about Football to compete now...it is def not CFB anymore.

Yep I think if it was still the 80s and 90s we are right with those biggest spending schools but a side effect of UF becoming so hard to get into is the richest alumni are tech types now which arent that into football.

We def went the nerdy route..but to be fair..the ODome is always packed and so is Ben Hill...so they are still showing up. Even if it is very, very, very hot on the student side of the Swamp at Noon and 3:30 games. The feels like has to be around 115f.
