20%
If we don't make a bowl, he's gone. There's close to a 0% chance that we beat either USCe or FSU.
I think we beat Vandy, but there's a good chance we don't. Muschamp needs to beat Vandy to keep his job.

This is what you wish for...but aint gonna happen. Except for second half of Mizzou game our team has played very hard and with passion.
Its different if there was player dissent...there is none of that. None of the players have given up. Its simply a matter of numbers and quality numbers...but facts are messy and get in the way?
Since some of you folks don't want to believe anything but staff ineptness...lets visit the numbers I am referring to (hell...I like to be long winded)
1) Driskel QB starter
2) Easley starter and AA 1st rounder DT/DE
3) Chaz Green starter OL
4) Matt Jones starter RB
5) Ron Powell starter OLB/DE two games
6) Kyle Koehne back OL with starting exp?
7) Joyer starter FB missed three games at least
8) Kent Taylor TE and 2012 starter for 2 games
9) Colin Thompson TE and rated as nations best?
10)Damien Jacobs starter DT missed past two games
11)Dante Fowler starter DE missed one game
12)Raphael Andrades back up WR never played?
13)Neiron Ball starter OLB missed two games
14)Rhaheim Ledbetter r/s fr DB ?
15)Tyler Moore starter OT played in 4 games
16)Jaylen Watkins starter DB out 2 games
17)Purifoy starter DB missed one game
18)Brian Poole backup DB played in a few games?
19)Jessamen Dunker OG susp and cost us scholly
20)Trip Thurman OL backup and never played?
21)Alex Anzalone LB backup was playing and hurt
22)Andre Debose WR backup gone for the year
23)Darrin Kitchens starter LB missed one game
24)Daniel McMillian backup fr LB out since Ark
25)Jeremi Powell back LB out since?
Ok....lets ADD 20 true frosh I count as not seeing the field or if they did...barely. How many scholly players we have left now playing?
AND out those still playing ...but not playing (on scholly) : Kyle Christy (awarded for 2012) Skyler Mornhinwig Alex Mcalister DE who is two yrs from contributing most likely unless he can gain 35 lbs quickly
Remember the limit is 85 schollys and YOU tell me what we are playing with? Math isn't my forte.
Add to this...we lost our top receiver, top rusher, top three tacklers all from last year and then lost our DL coach. Get back with me about how bad our coaching has been...but bring instances and data? Not kneejerk...but good solid stuff so I can have some of that blame sandwich.

If Muschamp gets the axe, Foley will have already lined up a replacement.
Who? Serious question. If Texas joins USC at the end of the season, what guaranteed grand slam is out there that makes more sense than just giving Muschamp one more year with a new OC? That would leave both of the only arguably better coaching gigs open in the same year, and there isn't exactly a lot of talent loose at the moment.
Some of the names like Strong are interesting, but I'm not sure about rolling the dice on their being an improvement over the current situation makes more sense that just going another year with Muschamp. In my opinion, Saban is the closest thing out there to a sure thing, and obviously that isn't happening. Everything else is just conjecture, and as frustrated as I am about things, I have to admit that there are a lot of things out of Muschamp's control this season that are making the losses stack up as much as anything else.
I really feel like many are letting impatience to win and irrational fears that recruiting will be impossible with a good Miami and FSU guide their thinking too much. (Side note, I find the latter particularly ironic as this is the same group that often argues injuries shouldn't matter because a good coach should be able to win with just solid but not necessarily great players.) Sometimes the devil you know really is better than the one you don't.
If next year sucks, can him. Personally, I'd feel much better on saying the potential of Muschamp at Florida just isn't there, and, even if there is no sure home run out there, rolling the dice with a Strong or Franklin. I just feel like that it is a dangerous game at this point.

What tried to say is that Foley will only fire Muschamp until he has a successor lined up.

Strong is highly unlikely to come back to FL as I understand it from someone close to him.

That I agree with.

Total offense:
2011 - 328.7 yards/game, 105th
2012 - 334.0 yards/game, 104th
2013 - 334.6 yards/game, 110th
What more do you need?
Injuries have been awful this season, no question. But we're in legitimate danger of missing a bowl, something we haven't done in twenty-two years. No amount of injuries could excuse a 5-7 season.
I have no problem with Muschamp's philosophy. When it works, it really works. However, executing this philosophy has been a huge issue. Our OL sucks, and that's inexcusable if we're intent on running a ball-control offense. We've been trying to fit square pegs into round holes all over the place. Driskel as a pro-style QB. Purifoy as a legitimate cover corner. Matt Jones as a between-the-tackles RB. Muschamp hasn't been willing to adapt to the talent we do have.
In all reality, we'll probably beat Vandy on Saturday, and Muschamp will get another year. But anything short of an East title next year, and he's gone.

Oh...ok...you mean the qb that gained 170 yds rushing against Vandy last year on 11 carries?
You are going to throw out 2011 stats? Oh Please. Do you ever see sunlight?

I've been a big supporter of Driskel and think he'd be a good spread QB, but it's painfully obvious that he's not, and never will be, a pocket passer. We've been putting our guys in position to fail.

That means if that happens Boom wasn't happy. I want to ask a question though...WHO the hell is going to be our OC when you know they are going to be scared by prospects of next year? If team falters?...the OC is probably out of a job after just 1 year while new coach brings in his staff. I know it wouldn't give me very secure feeling about relocating....unless its someone already on the staff? Okkkk but is that what we want?

I see you keep questioning me in each and every thread. I am not going to argue with you or out my people, so you might as well stop asking for it.
I go with what my people tell me. Is it wrong sometimes? Sure. However, they are right a good portion of the time.

Geez, I don't know why you have to get so defensive. When you are dropping stuff like that, people are going to be curious where you hear it from. 247 or somewhere else?

From what I've heard it is likely.

My take on your list
1) Driskel - QB terrible in the pocket
2) Easley - starter and AA 1st rounder DT/DE
3) Chaz - Green starter OL
4) Matt Jones - below average slow to hit the hole RB
5) Ron Powell - All hype no production
6) Kyle Koehne - back OL with starting exp?
8) Kent Taylor TE - soft and too light play TE in the SEC
9) Colin Thompson TE and rated as nations best?
10)Damien Jacobs starter DT missed past two games
11)Dante Fowler starter DE missed one game
12)Raphael Andrades - back up WR never played and probably never will?
15)Tyler Moore - starter OT and one of the worst OL I've ever seen
17)Purifoy starter DB highly overrated..can't tackle
18)Brian Poole backup DB played in a few games?
20)Trip Thurman OL backup and never played..and never will
..and if we lose tomorrow the proverbial shite may hit the fan. Wait until everyone gets a look at that crowd tomorrow.....or lack thereof.
