I'd say we have baseball to turn to but damn. They have an identity crises. They're in freefall.

Tough loss but an expected one. I want to thank the seniors and maybe some staff that won't be here next year. Salute my friends.

I look forward to getting the new guys in and see what next year has in store. I'm prepared to see growing pains much like this year as players learn the system and how they fit in.

I have even enjoyed must of the fans on the boards I read. Some less than others but that's life.

Thanks again fellows and of course the players who gave their all.

Go gators!!

I'll miss Kevaughn, Hayes, and Hudson (to an extent) but I'm not too upset about this season being over. This season felt like a chore more than any basketball season in recent memory.

Hopefully Mann and Lewis inject some excitement and explosiveness into the team next year because we desperately need it. I'd describe all of our current players, even the three freshmen, as being more workmanlike than explosive, which is fine but not at all exciting.

I think Coach White granted minutes based on willingness to play tough defense.

Read into that what you will.

May be for the best though. No idea what happened to Stone.

I wish him the best going forward, but he regressed worse than Allen did and that says a lot.

I'm guessing he saw how well Keyontae played in essentially the same role and figured his playing time would get cut, and it probably would have been, to an extent, but a healthy Stone gets minutes over Bassett and Stokes down low imo even if he's not a true big.

Eh not really. Okauru wasn't sitting on the bench because he couldn't defend.

He was in White's doghouse. No other reason. Thats why Nembhard was playing so many minutes.

May have been off the court stuff, but who knows.

I'm anxious to see how Nembhard progresses next year. I feel like he did a good job running the offense but I felt like he was always looking to pass instead of taking his shot.

On to what should be a up and down baseball year followed up by a remarkable football season.

Writing was on the wall for him. Just took too many terrible shots.

So we have nine scholarship players currently, lol. And next year's team is going to be painfully young -- seven of the nine scholarship players currently on the roster will be freshmen and sophomores, and the two upperclassmen will be Bassett and Gak.

White better hit the transfer market hard.

I’ve seen some encouraging names as potential grad transfers. It feels like White is going all in on this core and turning over the roster. A lot of talent.

Watch for Jitoboh committing today too. 6’11 290 lb high school senior.

Rumor has it both White and Nichols are absolutely furious with how the season went. My guess is they are turning the roster over to send a message that this is not acceptable.

I'm not as worried about the core being mostly freshman and sophomores.

Locke will have offseason surgery, which should help him finally regain his form from early in the season. Johnson and Nembhard are candidates for 1st and 2nd team all SEC next year.

For bigs yes. Absolutely. Unless Gak comes back fully healthy and Stokes sheds more weight to help his mobility and improve his defense, UF is gonna have to score 80+ a night next year to win games.

We picked up a commitment from Ques Glover, an undersized PG from Tennessee, last week. Under-the-radar but looks quick and explodes into his shot well.

Still two open spots. Need a big who can make an impact because I'm assuming Jitoboh gets a redshirt.

Guessing he’s bound for A&M to follow Budd, but White should go after him.
