Well, as long as it's for one game and not the entire season I guess it's not so bad.

I mostly ignore tRant outside of run and gun bandit tactics.
It's good to see that the fear is alive and well, though. We never got this much Rant press with McElwain, even when we were winning.

I know what happened since it's all over Twitter, I just don't care about Rantards. I also don't think it's that big of a deal, stupid and thuggish, but no files were charged and won't be charged. Some players said they weren't even there.
All in all, we just really need some leadership and to clean up the program.

i'm optimistic, but am certainly in wait and see mode.
anything less than 10-3 isn't good enough.
i won't freak out over 9-4. 8-5 will ruin football season.

It is for me too, I was just hoping that as negative as Slayer is about this team that he might be selling some tickets cheap.

When this happens, the bandwagon will fill up fast so it's good to already have a seat next to me, straw and reel. Nega-gators will have sit in the back or get left at the bus stop and don't think that they won't be reminded of their negative comments before the season even started.

i agree. i see no reason why we shouldn't win at least 9 games.
i see some reasons, but w/e.
really need to have a good season to get recruiting going. very pivotal year for the gators.
uga is turning into a juggernaut. usce is competitive. ditto for the behemoths in the west. gotta make sure we keep up at the least.

Because we regularly outrecruit and outproduce 9 teams on our schedule last year. LSU, FSU and UGA are the only ones who outrecruit us or are similar.
LSU could barely scrape out a win against a zombie McElwain missing something like 18 players.
FSU has a new coach who, if you actually watch his tape, is not a gameday coach. I expect to lose MSST because I know Mullen built that program well -- if your team can win a bowl with no HC, DC, OC or starting Quarterback you're leaving behind something special.
That being said, FNL is tomorrow, mis muchachos. Relax.

Straws obviously most on this damn board don't remember great movies from the 1980s....that quote about the Germans bombing Pearl Harbor was made by John Belushi in "Animal House", the greatest comedy about 1960s college frats ever made.
Its a classic and everyone should watch the movie. The comment made by Belushi was when this totally renegade frat house had been expelled from school and everyone was depressed....Belushi tried to rally the "troops".
You will die laughing watching this flick.
A young hot Karen Allen is in it and that's worth the price of admission right there. Its about what frats do: drink like hell, chase women, fail classes and commit mayhem.
