Yeah, we aren't on SECN this weekend! Will be interesting game between two programs that haven't excelled lately. An SEC east game that will go a long way to determine if the Gators can have a decent year.

Two first year head coaches at schools that have had success in the past. Coach Pruitt at UT is a first time HC and is defensive minded, but the roster lacks the players he needs to implement a staunch defense. UT has some firepower on offense but is a reflection of UF with its OL.

Last year UT failed to win a SEC game and Pruitt has his work cut out for him.

UF would love to have special teams step up again this week! And it would be nice to see us run the ball effectively early on and draw their safeties up. Eliminate stupid mistakes, dropped passes etc etc.

This game is a MUST HAVE if Florida wants to go to a bowl game this year.

At the beginning of the season I predicted 7-5, but one of those wins was UK. Now... FSU is way worse than I thought they would be (WAY WORSE) but even with Idaho and FSU counting as wins UF still would need two more wins to get to 6, and I think their best bets are UT and maybe Vandy, although Vandy looks pretty tough this year.

UT has a crap OL, like UF, but are OK on defense, again, kinda like UF. They both have weaknesses in the secondary but are at least average in the front 7.

This game is going to come down to turnovers and QB play. Neither team has great QB play, so you can translate that to whichever team has the better running game to protect their QB should probably win. Also, Florida can't afford to fall behind. Franks is never a good QB, but he is truly terrible when the team is behind.

When was the last time this wasn't the 3:30 game? 2006?

When the run game is going everything is better. Want to see more of Pierce.

2013 is when our QB had a broken leg and we had so many season ending injuries it was unbelievable. Im pretty sure it was a 3:30 game and a Gameday presense. The year before we were # 2 in the BCS before losing to UGA in a flag fest for PFs.

3 other SEC games worth watching this weekend since we will play 5 of them

12:00 UGA vs Mizzou ESPN
4:00 USC vs Vandy SECN
7:00 Moo State vs UK ESPN2

Hard for me to get things done around the house with a full slate

UG wins something like 37-20. Drew Lock keeps it close at start but Kirby figures them out and UG's depth takes over.

Tossup imo, Vandy looked good in loss, while SC looked bad in a loss.

Vandy 23-14

I believe this is gonna be one of those weird games where shite just happens.

UK 27-17

Yeah, I was surprised at watching USC vs UGA...even on TV I could see how undersized their OL/DL was. UGAs OL pushed the DL around like they were on roller skates. Vandy has a tough team and should have beaten Nueter Damsel.

UK will show they are not pushovers

Mizzou is an air raid team and belongs in the damn big 12 with defense optional and so so run game. Purdue just blistered them through the air for like 575 yds, yikes! But Purdue couldn't stop anyone and run game optional.

BTW our starting lineup is back to Slaton & Conliffe starting nose and tackle on defense. Im sure Clark and Campbell, Dunlap and Shuler will see a lot of snaps.

I agree . We have to run the ball more in this game . We did a lot better last week on offense once we started to run the ball. Maybe pierce will get more time with Davis out . This is a must win for both teams if they hope to make a bowl game . Everyone in the east besides Georgia seem to be in the same tier right now .

Georgia should win easy . Missouri still can’t play defense.

SC vs Vandy is the interesting one . Should be a good game . Hopefully Vandy can gets the win . Mason seems like a good dude and I hate Muschamp so seeing Mason win would be good .

State vs UK is tough game to predict. A win by State helps us in the east but I would prefer to see UK win and end the State hype.

As much as I would love to see Moo State lose to UK...it will probably hurt us the next week when we head to Starkvegas...most of you don't realize this..but remember last year LSU was upset before our by Louisiana or Troy State? They had their backs to the wall and even then we almost won. I prefer to see us play a team that just won rather just lost a game.

I have no really good feelings about this game.

We are equally broken programs. At home at night in Tenn. Don't think UF has the leadership to take command on the road and take the hits to the chin and get back up fighting.

Sucks but it is what it is. Tenn sucks..but they know this game is huge. UF does too, but being on the road this team is hard to have faith in right now.

Either way. I never predict a Florida loss to UT. Because I can't do it.

Florida 24
Tenn 20
