AR isn’t a starting pro QB, cuz he can’t throw.
DJ is the sane. Missed MANY open WRs this season alone.
We talk about playcalling but the plays are still the plays. Mesh works, Y Corner works, Verts works, Hank works for teams who have QBs that can read a defense and throw.
It’s kinda funny Mertz has the same playcalling and had his best seasons as a QB.

Yes. Liking Sumrall more every day. There is no justification for Lagway to be getting that crazy NIL. Let someone else risk big money if they want to.

I see it this way also. Lagway is Richardson 2.0 so far without the crazy running ability. Not sure if he will ever be real good at scanning the field.

We need to be really smart on how we handle the QB position in the portal. Find someone on tape it's clear they can play even if they are group of 5 now. It's better to get someone like that than someone that has already struggled at power 4 schools.

50/50 probably. I just hope Sumrall and them are wise with the funds. They made one smart move here imo and you need to look at things from an overall team perspective.

Baugh and Lag are leaving..amazing how fricking awful this offseason has been. Utterly insane how bad it is to be a Gator fan..we will prob be a 3 or 4 win team next year it will be very, very brutal.

We lost our starting QB, our back up QB is very very bad..lost our best offensive weapon in Baugh, lost majorily in finding a HC...this maybe the worst offseason I can remember for UF Football..it is insane how bad shite is.

Lagway leaving is good imo. We have a team to rebuild and need to start working on it. The Lagway money saved will likely turn out to be a wise move imo.

Then when we hire another coach in 4 or 5 years..will be the same thing. We are a Basketball program now. Go all in on it. We have a great coach in BBall...sure our Football progran is very bad but do like UNC, Duke, Kentucky do..focus your money on basketball mainly. Cheaper to buy a basketball lineup.
