OB and TG are still very, very confident that he ends up being a Gator, FWIW.

I won’t melt if we don’t get him. I’ll gladly take Frost, Morris Norvell or Strong

UCLA paid $12M dollars at once for Mora to leave. We had to have Mac frick up to can him. Kelly can sell LA, easier path to CFP, his games would be in prime time. Yes UCLA doesn't have the history but their top booster just built them a brand new sports complex.

Again everybody says UCLA is easier if the coach wants easy let him go

Prime Time on Saturday isn't necessarily at night. In fact, if anything, being on the West Coast hurst Pac 12 teams in the rankings because no one is watching by the time they play.

15.something for him and his staff to leave. Millions in LA are not measured in millions for Gainesville. It's way more expensive.

Per OB (person who is directly connected to the program, that you quoted without knowing) McElwain was gone regardless for the muck up. This was just a good excuse to get rid of him and not pay the 8 that we owed and that we can now use for Chip Kelly and his staff. He was gone, regardless.

Kelly can sell LA
Kelly can sell anywhere.

Weird, they've won the PAC-12 once since 1998.
quote:

They will at Florida, too.

We're in the middle of having our own facilities upgraded, and have an indoor facility freshly built and it's gorgeous.
So:
Money: Push
Fan-base: Florida (by a lot)
Prestige: Florida
Recruiting: Easy Florida, UCLA is a decade behind to in-city rival USC.
Conference: Florida (SEC currently has three top ten teams, PAC has Z-Z-ZERO.)
Everything Football related: Florida.
Weirdly speculative things: UCLA.
It's not a football school and it's a program he needs to build from the ground up, that is not what Chip Kelly wants.
Evidence: His stay at Oregon and what he said afterwards.
He wants to coach football, and Florida will give him more money for his assistants and more support.

We don’t have to be all angry about things. Bottom line is we want the best coach we can get that wants to be at UF.
UF is an excellent opportunity.
UCLA is an excellent opportunity.
I’d rather have a coach that wants to be here over one who doesn’t.
I had the choice when I was younger of being the GM of a national chain restaurant. They actually had openings at two stores.
1. One store had greater volume and gross sales, greater potential for bonuses. Stayed open till 4am.
2. The other had less sales but greater per order price. Stayed open till 12am.
Which store did I choose? Number 2 because I didn’t want to work that damn late. Just my choice. I could have made more money at store 1 but to me the hours weren’t worth it.
Overall Athletic Departments are both top 5 overall. Just a matter of which is the best fit. Not a right or wrong just a choice.

Prior Oregon coach says: ''UCLA is a good job, but not a great job like Florida.''
Buddy Martin says "confident Chip Kelly will be named (UF) oach barring a last-second, cold-feet pushback at the altar." 3 hours ago, maybe a little longer.
OB (Insider who broke almost all Gator content) says the same, as does TG.
Those are the rumors I have from the paid sites, will update more as I can.

This week was going to be brutal for Florida fans, thanks to a bunch of terrible Florida reporters Sunday night making gross assumptions. Everyone needs to take a deep breath, it will be okay.

So essentially don't contradict anything straws said because he paid money for this Insider info. The same stuff that gets put on Twitter 20 minutes after it posts. You are just a fan like everybody else except you are just choosing to ignore any contradicting info. All I'm saying is there are reports that contradict what you are saying. I don't care if you think they're fake or not their job is to report this info. That doesn't make me not a Gator fan just because I'm not going a hundred percent All In when there's all these contradicting sources.TG doesn't know if what he is reporting is 100% correct. His job is to sell you on the paid info. We will see.
Funny thing UCLA's 247Sports is reporting Chip Kelly has chosen UCLA. Gators 247 TG says he's coming to Florida. They work for the same company and share info I wonder why that would be.

Not even close.

Didn't.

Bitter.

The problem is that it contradicts itself, over and over again. Remember from the Gainesville Sun that said that Kelly's guys were meeting with UCLA on Sunday that they retracted?
Remember when they said they met him on Tuesday in UCLA on ESPN?
Remember when they corrected again and said they didn't meet in UCLA today?
Weird how no one seems to know any real dates, times or facts regarding that.
UCLA 247 also said that they had ''moved on'' from Chip Kelly two days ago.
I'm in a chat with guys who are insiders, so I can actually see things as they're unfolding and I've given you links every time around to tell you how full of shite your guys are.
If your link starts out by saying: ''hey guys this is just a shot in the dark...'' that's called clickbait.
You weren't reading UCLA forums before that post right there that got 247 a lot of traffic these last few days, so I will give you a pass -- but they've been reporting that Kelly isn't even likely the last few days.
It went from: Kelly talking to UCLA, okay no he hasn't, okay yes he has, UCLA moving on, UCLA talking to Kelly in LA, no he didn't, Kelly to UCLA ink's dry baws.
In three days.

OB posted on 247 about an hour ago saying everything is still solid for Chip to Florida. Goldkamp hasn’t posted anything yet. OB has been very confident every time he posts, Goldkamp too. The board over there is freaking out right now, but until OB and Goldkamp start panicking we should be good.
Posted on 11/22/17 at 5:54 pm to gatorbait_007
Exactly. He refuses to see anything until after it happens. See Mac getting fired.
Posted on 11/22/17 at 6:02 pm to TJGator1215
It's all over Twitter from Ucla boards that CHIP has chosen them. Meanwhile UF boards are quiet. He's gone.

Once again don't put out any info that contradicts what straws is saying. I'm in a chat with insiders that say this UCLA thing may have legs. Why would I be bitter you said you got your info from paid sites. You are probably embarrassed you actually paid for it. Like I said you are just a fan like everyone else your insiders could be selling you bunk info just as easy as mine. But you did admit everything contradicts itself. Ask your boy TG why 247 is saying he chose UCLA now.
For all I know he is weighing his options nothing is solid.

What if we never really even went after Chip?
Posted on 11/22/17 at 6:07 pm to gatorbait_007
The Chip to UCLA story just got deleted from their site.
The guy that wrote it said he didn't want it to get misinterpreted, but he still stood by it

Both were deleted from 247.
Hate to break it to you, guys, but your sources were.......a little mistaken.
