Nope. I was behind WM, until he led our team to a loss to GSU. I even backed him after losing to Vandy. You can only take so much losing to inferior opponents before you start questioning the one in command.

This isn't a "few games."

We've lost six games in a row, including Muschamp's third loss to UGA in three years, a blowout at homecoming against Vanderbilt, and a loss to an injury-riddled mediocre FCS team.

Muschamp doesn't deserve another season. It's that simple.

I'm really sad to state the following, however, after this loss, I'm done with WM. He doesn't have what it takes. The problem I have with firing him now is that I know of no sure things in this hiring cycle. It's clear to me now that we should have hired Spurrier back before Urban regardless of the two trophies he brought us. Urban is scum.

Any way, we'll see what Foley does. I would not want to be in his position right now.

Did anyone check to see what players were missing for this game? Wow...its amazing...we had only 1 LB, Morrison was already out before the game...Michael Taylor got injured during game and is probably out for the girls school, Kitchens..ditto, Azalone (backup LB) injured during game. Neiron Ball was only name I didn't hear.
We played McCallister at DE and he is a string bean and not ready to play...why? Because of the losses at DL...Bullard was out and is probably gone for next week too, Roberson was out, it is just too many players to patch together
# 38 Brian Campbell...walk on was forced into action at LB since we were done with schollys that could play....we also played Jarrad Davis again this week and he is true frosh.

I see the utter disappointment on Muschamps face and its gut wrenching...he hates losing. He took a direct shot at the offense in the after game interviews (after taking direct responsibility) and I know what he means...we needed to score to put pressure on GSU to throw the ball...but we never could come close to scoring more than them. They are a triple option/veer type offense and throwing is not what they do at all.

GSU was playing this game with 49 scholarship players, so injuries is no more valid an excuse for us than it is for GSU's coaching staff.

No excuses. We lost to a mediocre FCS team. fricking embarrassing.

I'm seriously at a loss for words to describe how I feel about the preparation that our coaching staff has done.

Pease is a dead man walking.

And snakebit or not, this game was not unwinnable because of injuries. A good coach could navigate those losses to beat an FCS team. GSU didn't even pass for one yard.

And Skyler, dear lord.

GSU was missing 19 of their 65 scholarship athletes. No excuse. First loss in Florida history to an FCS team. Zero passing yards, could we not figure out they were going to run. Watch the Clemson games versus Georgia Tech and the Citadel. Both Triple option teams. You play assignment football. Each player has an assignment and attacks that player to cutout every option the offense has. Clemson did it perfectly against the Citadel. For a great minded Defensive coach I expected more.

Muschamp said teams run the triple option to take "talent out of the equation" and even the playing field, which it did today.

I got to work the sideline today and attended the presser afterward. When Muschamp left afterward and walked out the side door into an empty hall, he looked like the loneliest guy in the world. Maybe we do indeed need a change, but I really wish that it would have worked for him should it come to that. I like the guy, and you can tell he takes all of this pretty hard. I also think that is motivated internally, not externally. That being said, you'll get no argument from me that those factors alone aren't enough.

His time may be up here, but I don't think the guy is an idiot by any stretch. It may just be true that he really wasn't ready for job this big, and the irony is that being through the grind at Florida might be what makes him ready. I suspect he'll be an HC at another big program someday should he be shown the door, and I won't be surprised if he does well. That being said, it might be that just too much water has gone under the bridge to fix things here.

Yes...GSU had 49 scholly players...I doubt we had that many healthy or not suspended. Robinson has head up his lower body cavity and you wonder why some frosh don't see the field as frosh.

My point is that we were decimated...MaCallister iws 6-5 or 6'6 and maybe 215 lbs.,...way too skinny and lost year because of the injuries. A walk on at LB along with frosh playing. We were not better than GSU...pure and simple. Third string qb? Did GSU have to play theirs? Even if they did...their offense is different...they take rb and make him a qb anyway. Ga Techs qbs are usually no taller than 5'10 or 5'11" since they don't throw.
Yes...this game stunk....yep we were 11-1 last year and Boom was SEC Coach of the Year...so what gives? He certainly is snakebit this year.

We had more players than them.

Also, they are a middle road FCS school. They are 4-4 in their own conference losing to such teams as mighty Samford. This isn't like App State, which was the #1 FCS team when they beat Michigan. We should have whipped them. No excuses.

That's too bad to hear. I still like Boom, but in terms of coaching acumen, he has a lot to learn.

He's not going to get fired so I hope he somehow show up for FSU and kick arse next year. He's going to have a rough time making the circuits to the Gator clubs this offseason.

We should've able to beat gsu with a well coached team of 3rd string guys.

49 scholarship athletes
2 missed extra points
No completed passes
FCS team

I'm out of excuses for WM. Have no more explanations for his poorly prepared teams.
