Mick Hubert wasn't a Gator either. He went to college at Illinois State and was doing play by play at Bradley University before getting the UF job.

Sometimes you just need to pick the best person for the job. I want them to have O&B colored glasses, but I need them to tell me the truth also.
He seems to be well thought of by LSU fans and many were hoping he would be the voice of LSU. He might be a perfect fit.

I am saying "Not a Gator," tongue in cheek. I just want a guy that bleeds orange and blue and sounds like on the radio.

Matt, you probably didnt know Otis Boggs, the voice of the Gators before Mick....he could make me smell the french fries at the state fair when we played N Carolina St years ago. He would describe the weather and the rival players so you felft you were there at the away game.
