The refs fricked us over the entire second half. Clemson was in the bonus only 6 minutes in. We'll see what this team is really about with Egbunu back.

He is still learning.
UF is in good shape. I still think we finish top 3 in the SEC, and will be in good shape for March.

I'm starting to have some questions on White's strategy here. Yet another game we have no control of the pace of the game and end up in half court sets running slow offense. We can't win half court games. He has to force the tempo. Don't understand it. We started this at the end of the Duke game and haven't stopped.

I'm sorry you don't blow a lead that big due to the refs. This team has a mindset problem:
5 Pts last 7 vs Duke
5 Pts last 7 vs L-Chicago
5 Pts last 7 vs Clemson
We need to play with a killer mindset. We go conservative and don't take quality shots. Going 1 of 10 in the last 5 minutes is terrible.

Crazy thing about yesterday is that all but 2 of those 10 shots were GREAT looks.
Just an all around bad loss.

They gave Clemson two very easy points on what should have been called a shot clock violation on us.

No, you’re right, we have a problem closing out games. I was just pointing out that the refs were horrible in the 2nd half. There was a point in the game where they let the wrong guy shoot free throws...that’s just embarrassing

I totally agree. This team should be running opposing teams out of the gym. Our advantage is speed and quickness. We were winning when scoring 100+ points. Since Duke they've turned into half court offense which is not the strength of this squad. Maybe he's trying to work on the half court for later but I think you play to your strengths.

UF beat incarnate word 75-60. This game shouldn't have been close but terrible shot selections kept it closer than it should have been. This is the 2nd win in a row after beating JMU 72-63. The defense was atrocious again allowing ICW to shoot 47% from 2 And 41% from 3. UF shot 25% from 3 at 9-36. We made our FTs and forced turnovers. A wins a win but we should've beaten both by 25+

Incarnate Word was begging to be blown out with their fouls & turnovers. Game was way too close at the half and at one point we had 20 pt lead and let them back in.
Honestly our biggest problem is rebounding and until Eg is back we will continue to rely on guard play too much and not be able to control the paint on defense.

We have some major flaws teams have found ways to expose. We have a lot of talent on this team, but not finding ways to use it effectively the whole game.
That...and man....this defense is dreadfully bad. Getting our big boy back will help a lot, but not enough if the perimeter defense doesn't improve dramatically.

Good start but A&M had a lot out too so doesn't tell us if we are really back or not quite yet. Team went from looking top five in the nation to not ranked in two weeks. Was perplexing. Lot of talent on the roster, but need to do the little things a lot better.

Where are the folks who were panicking earlier in the season?
White is a good young coach getting better with every game and becoming an awesome recruiter.

Beating two average teams should be expected. Still a long way to go and white still has a lot to prove.
