Nape is my guy for sure unless it's a REALLY big name, like Urban/Bob Stoops.

My partial staff would be:
HC-Napier
OC-Lebby (If we're a big boy, we need to hire big boy coaches.)
DC-Belk from Houston (Big time recruiting area ties, I believe he'd be a rockstar.)

I'd also try and poach Addae from Georgia too.

Hard to say imo because in a conference that weak just showing them the players at Bama you worked with that went to the NFL goes a long ways.

Hearing NAPIER could be named UF new coach as early Tuesday.

Him and Sticklin have history all the way back to Moo St.

Boy, 247 gators sure do have a raging hardon for Napier.

They’re all freaking out over our current players and recruits following him on Twitter.

If you’re gonna spend it, spend it on someone you know that has a track record of success.

$12mil/year for 10 years for an Urban Meyer type is a better investment than a $6mil/year for a 4 years for a Billy Napier type. We’re a destination school, not a next step school.

Personally I'd rather us try to land the next Meyer. I want someone hungry and who will work tirelessly to get UF back to where we should be. Not sure the guys that have already tasted that success elsewhere and who have openly spoken about the stresses of this kind of job will be looking to put that kind of commitment in again.

Napier fits the bill on this.

But I like Dan Quinn a lot, don't know if there is truly interest on either him or UF.

Agreed. I think Napier is the guy.

Not a Quinn fan myself, but i dont like my HCs rooted from the Defensive side of the game. Give me the offensive mindset from a HC.

Stoops would have been great in 2014 or 2017. He could possibly be great now, but I personally fall in the camp that thinks we need someone young-ish.

Napier seems to be plugged in with where players are today and, I think, we'll have cats want to play hard for him. The obvious risk though is translating that to success at a place like UF.

Stoops has had success at a place like UF as an HC, but I think the risk with him is whether or not he can be what is needed these days. I've literally "gotten the band back together" before, and every time wished I'd let my last memory remain the last show we played 10 years earlier.

I'd be excited to see what happened with either, but Napier would probably get the nod were I the guy cutting the check though.

This is a huge call for Stricklin. Will determine how long he is the AD at UF.

Yeah, and that's why he would be one of my top choices. There's also a lot of enthusiasm and energy around him on message boards and UF social media. Having that kind of immediate support for a young, G5 coach goes a long way in building momentum.
