Team is banged up and had a big emotional letdown. We play great when we have the hunter mindset. Come out flat and we can easily lose this game.

Something I’ve noticed is that Trask doesn’t seem to go into that woe is me area. He seems pretty even through out the entire game. He definitely gets pumped when good things happen, and he got pissed when Daniels twisted his ankle at Kentucky.

He strikes me as a dude that won’t let the team get down.

He's a serial killer.

Hasn't started in 7 years, goes into LSU and throws a pick but you wouldn't know it since he just drove the offense down the field for the sixth time in the game after that.

Talking mostly about line of scrimmage and tackling. When we bring our A game we do both pretty well (other than run blocking) and we can't be letting Carolina's rushing attack control the clock.

Just don't get you hopes up to much for a blow out. Trends stay consistent in sports. Three straight games to get up for...almost every team struggles. It's why the line is so low. Not the Georgia win for them, but because the big money will go to USCe specifically because of that.

This should be a low scoring defensive game. Passing enough to get a lead and hopefully hold on to it.

I love the 12 noon start time vs night game...much better for us. Two weeks after this game we have the dawgs at 3:30 on CBS for the east division marbles most likely. Cannot wait to end their 2 game win streak...they awfully quiet on the Rant

We have to stop there run game or we will lose this game not sure if hilinski will play but either way the key to this game will be stopping there run game and then get pressure on what ever QB is in the game

Team comes out fired up and runs away from SC. They cant keep up with us scoring and our defense has a chip on their shoulder vs a QB whos not as good as the last one we played.

I'm not trying to stir the pot or anything like that. But, after that LSU game I was just wondering...
Would you Gators fans really be upset if Grantham was not our D coordinator next season?

I knew someone would misconstrue my post. I'm not saying he should be fired or anything like that.
It's a hypothetical question.

how'd you get "misontrue" from my post. if he left on his own accord, i'd be indifferent about it. who would we replace him with?

Depends who we get instead of him. He is a substantial upgrade from Shannon.

I'm actually fine with Grantham, but I know he's not a long term solution. He pretty much admitted that the only reason he stayed this year was so his son could graduate high school. His son is now playing baseball in Mississippi, so he's gone regardless.

We are still grooming Robinson, but I would like him to get a significant upgrade. (Our LB coach.) I don't think we could justify the position to him since he's never actually run a defense, but maybe bring in someone to show him the ropes so he could take over in 2021? The guy can recruit and seems like he likes Florida a lot.

However, Grantham's defenses will always be beaten by above average pocket passers.

If Grantham leaves, maybe will Muschamp will be available, great DC.

I have jokes.

I personally never liked Muschamp's defenses to be quite honest. I like fast and aggressive defenses. Hopefully we can find someone who keeps the same system but just understands passing better.

That's why I asked the question. I've heard he's gone after this season as well. I'm also trying to understand why he made no adjustments after the half at LSU?

This game is going to be a huge challenge for this team. Will tell us a lot about these coaches.

I dont 100% trust Mullen with DC picks but he knows he is not at moo state anymore also we are paying top notch money to Grantham so if we keep that pay around 1.5 to 1.9 Mil a Year Mullen should have no problem finding a really good DC
