This coaching staff has done a lot of good things this year, and the players play hard, but some of the decisions on offense and defense are just mindblowing.

Only thing I'll say is that the Missouri game last year pretty much played out the same way and we lost - instead we won today.

Try to enjoy the year as much as possible instead of getting upset every week.

The DB play is garbage. If this clutch of Granthites can't get their head out of their asses, I'd just as soon blow third-and-longs with the n00bs. At least they have an excuse and might learn how to get better.

Six games in, if you haven't coached them up anymore than this, I don't know that it's going to happen.

An absolutely loaded Georgia team only beat this Mizzou team by 4.

Just keep that in mind despite how frustrating today was at times.

4-2 with SC, A&M and Vandy still left.

Not too bad for year 1. Despite the questions.

Need a win next week for a shot at 9-3.

Georgia is the only game left I feel that we don't have much of a shot.

Really wish we had the UK game back - that's one we shouldn't have lost.

Defense played better than I thought they would today. Only gave up 17 points and scored once. 13 TFL and 4 sacks.

Just have to work on executing better on third down.

3rd down defense for the year - after giving up 9-17 for Mizzou, is now 43-85. Bottom five in the country.

I’d say if we play decent we have a shot at winning every game. Is it realistic? No. But Georgia is begging to lose and I’m not opposed to denying them that opportunity.

The rest of the schedule is a toss up.

for those that missed it in the press conference, napier was asked about the timeout at halftime. he said we had multiple players that weren't set and wanted to make sure we had the right personnel on the field.

Miami and FSU lost in hilarious fashion.

We looked bad at times, but pulled it out.

Lots of teams looked bad today, so we're not alone in the suckage.

yeah, i'm not ready to throw Toney under the bus, yet. the front 7 played lights out in my opinion. the secondary positions have 3-4 years of Todd Grantham habits that need to be replaced with fresh minds and molded by raymond. i think next year might show a different tale.

That is bad.

As much as I want to be patient with the new staff, and also acknowledge that the last staff left them garbage, there has to be some sort of line where blaming Mullen and TG can't apply (and I hated Mullen and like to blame him for everything, even bad weather ).

I have to say, after this game, there are many questions about this staff. I guess that's part of having a new staff, especially when that staff is as young as this one. Those questions can't possibly be answered in year 1 (for the most part). As much as it is aggravating at times, I am willing to sit back and enjoy the ride as much as I can.

I was at the game, sitting on the side of the field where that Mizzou player caught the ball on the 3rd and 22 (section 17). I don't know what our players were doing, but Toney needs to figure something out. For the time being, I'll give him leeway for inheriting bad Mullen players, but stuff like that is ridiculous. Some of those other 3rd conversions were also terrible, but Cook did seem to make a nice throw and the WR's made nice catches. Still not acceptable, but I could somewhat wrap my head around them. That 3rd and 22 will haunt me every time I watch this team the rest of the year.

Overall, the game was okay. We won. It wasn't pretty. I can't really describe it. It was very strange. In some ways I felt the Gators were clearly the better team. But Mizzou outplayed us in many other ways. We could've pulled away and won comfortably but missed opportunities (in the 1st half on offense, and in the 2nd half on defense). Yet despite that, we won.

Mizzou might be this year's Nebraska: a team with a bad W-L record but will play teams tough and close (minus the K-state game). They played tough against Auburn, Georgia, and Florida in 3 games straight. They are not a good team, but they are not an easy win. If that makes sense. We'll see, but that's what they've been the past 3 games.

It was so frickin hot the first half. The crowd and the offense seemed to be asleep. I wonder how much playing on Sunday threw off the team. Not that it should be an excuse, but it definitely could play a factor in the slow start.

I don't know about Napier's offense in the SEC. It seems like one week it'll be good enough moving forward, the next week it seems like it sucks. Is it all AR? Is AR good enough? Sometimes he seems like he can be, others he's awful. The play where he got the 1st down with his legs that led to a touchdown was great. It seems to me that he's holding back trying to not get hurt a lot. He also is not very good at throwing from the pocket, but seems to throw pretty well outside of it.

I had a good time, especially with the Gators winning. One thing that really annoyed me was on that drive with a few minutes left in the 4th, when Etienne ripped a few big runs and we were at midfield (right before AR threw that pick intended for Pearsall that bounced in the air), some dude was trying to start "The Wave". People were telling him that we don't do that when the Gators are on offense. Then when they turned it over, he tried to start it again.

I'm not a wave person period, but I normally don't mind it. However, at such an important time of a tight game, I found it really irritating that someone was trying to start that shite. Like, in the second quarter, or if it's a blowout, sure. But in addition to the irritating turn of events on the field at the end of the game, I had to try to block out this guy making noise to incite people to start a wave. Really was making those last two drives way more stressful.

Yeah it's weird. As bad as the defense was on 3rd down, they were really great on 1st and 2nd.

And with the slow start offensively, it can be argued that the defense won the game today.

Also, only 1 penalty today: a false start that cost us 5 yards.

Defense showed flashes of what they can do, just need to finish the job on 3rd.

Having Hill back is awesome.

Nice writeup

Defense did struggle to get off the field today and it was upsetting but they were on the field like 35 minutes so I cant really go nuclear on em. Our offense did them little favors before halftime.

We wont know about the offense till the QB hits the gimmie passes on a regular basis.
The commentary thinking a pass was tipped (it wasnt) at the LOS because it was so bad off is concerning as far as AR goes

17 pts allowed, 2 ints, 1 for a td, 13 tackles for loss and 4 sacks. Hell, we get off the field on a few of the 3rd in longs and we're having a whole different conversation about the defense rn.

Not to mention Mizzou ran over 70 plays for only 370 yards total

The defense was on the field for nearly 36 minutes. Yesterday was moreso on the offense sucking all around most of the game more than anything else.

3rd and Toney…….new Gator catchphrase. And AR…….if he isn’t moving, running he is a liability.
