UG fans have felt inferior to UF since 1990 when Spurrier began his reign of terror on the mutts. They have had some success over the last few years while the Gators suffered thru self inflicted wounds but the mutts know what is about to happen when Mullen gets the Gators back to full strength.
They are truly scared of what is about to happen in this series. Kirby can't stop it.

He's definitely one of the best in our league at scheming offenses but he has some WTF moments that leave you scratching your head.

For sure. I think the UGA game last year was a case of that. I think he needs to win that game this year to at least get that monkey off his back. He has done a fantastic job overall and is a very good coach.

I think it's critical that he wins this year. If not then it can snowball into what Spurrier did to UGA. It becomes a mental obstacle.

They feel that they have the same level of dominance over us as we did over them in the 90s.
I don’t agree necessarily, but they will take any moment to make sure that right now UF fans know that UGA has the better team and program.
And based on the last 3 years, they are right unfortunately. Mullen shat away a golden opportunity last year and the only way to shut them up is to win in Jacksonville.
