Let me ask y'all a question. UGA is recruiting lights out. Mullen can't. If we stay on the same path 8-4 or worse is all you can expect. Stoops out coaches Mullen, Oregon out coaches Mullen. And we couldn't beat this UGA team if we played them 50 times. Is that good enough at UF?

It seems to me, some of you Gators fans have taken the President Fuchs mindset. frick it let's just have a mediocre athletic department.

Lol I wanted to get rid of Mullen after the LSU game last year. White should've been fired after last year too and frankly the only reason he wasn't was due to the Keyontae Johnson incident in the FSU game.

I'm just being completely honest here - the student fanbase when I graduated flat out did not give a shite about the football team - granted there wasn't a lot to cheer for in the 13/14 seasons, and its even worse now.

The administration does not consider football to be a high priority like Georgia or Alabama does.

The new Football complex will help a bunch with recruiting, but as a program overall, Florida is WAY behind Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M, Alabama, and Auburn.

Firing Grantham is needed one way or the other. Should've been done last year, and thats really a decision Mullen fricked up.

And really Grantham's contract is up now - hes gone regardless after the season unless of course Mullen begs him to come back.

Mullen isn't going anywhere after this year unless he leaves on his own - just accept that.

What he needs to go and do, is get a defensive coordinator that can recruit. Recruiting is the big problem. If he doesn't nail this hire, hes done at Florida - its just a matter of time.

I remember when he was OC under Urbs. Mullens wife did not like shopping in Gainesville after a loss.

Wonder how far she travels to go shopping now that Mullen have the Incredible Record of 4 - 4 and fans not being very happy.

No not at all. I personally am not enthused with our football, basketball or baseball coaches. But you don't fire someone without having a coach or coaches in mind with a very good chance of landing them, or you will end up with a Zook or Muschamp situation all over again.

It is a bad season for us, but it isn't a Muschamp bad season. We can still end up 8-4 and even 9-4 with a bowl win. Also 3/4 of those losses were close contests that could have possibly either way. Why can't we give some credit to the other teams for doing what it took to win rather than always bashing our team? I get it, and I see we have some glaring weaknesses and I don't like it, but I am not ready to abandoned ship yet and I will tell you the main reason.

I still think Mullen has the kids playing hard and I thought that barring our meltdown right before the half, we could have made that a really good game.

My issue with a coach is when I don't think the team plays hard and seems to mail it in, which I thought we did in the LSU game a little bit, but not this one. UGa just has a really good team.

We will see how we respond and if we keep playing hard and re-evaluate it as the season goes along.

Also Lincoln Riley ain't coming to Florida, and even if he was at Florida, we wouldn't be happy with him either. It would be, "Oh, he can't win the big one, and why was he starting the wrong QB," or something to that effect.

Just enjoy the season and Let's see how everything turns out.

Stricklin is simply sleep walking and happy to have a job at this point after the WBB debacle. He needs to terminate Mullen and resign himself.

Our athletic department and football program are turning into a daycare. Mullen runs a mismanaged program from Recruiting to Football Operations and Stricklin couldn't care less about the overall situation. Extending poor performance or keeping it around is just asking for the department to continue to diminish.
