46 is trash. Not really up for debate. We’ve gotta do better in 24. I have yet to see anyone say they’re happy with anything this ones done. Most of my far right friends think the election was stolen. Most of my far left friends would’ve voted for a potato not named Trump. I don’t understand how our country has come to this.

I'm not far right but I can acknowledge that there are some really bizarre anomalies that took place. Does it mean the system is broken? I have no idea, but there was certainly some frickery going on.

This is the only place I can really say this, but:

I'm not getting vaccinated. I don't care what people tell me, I don't care if it's dangerous for other people, I'd like to see what happens 3 - 5 years after the vaccine before I even consider it.

The old were the first vaccinated, and they say that vaccinated people don't go to the hospital, so why is everyone trying to convince me to take it? I'm young, I'm very healthy, I already had COVID and I was fine, I just don't understand why everyone is so gung-ho over forcing everyone to take it.

There are already other variants, and there will likely be many more before the vaccine ever works, and so the argument that we need to "stop it beforehand" is already out the window.

It's just a weird thing to watch so many people push a vaccine for a disease that doesn't even kill that many people. Outside of a handful of cases, COVID-19 pretty much exclusively kills the elderly and overweight, both of which I despise. (That was just a joke.)

Anyway, I'm not getting the vaccine.

I’m not vaccinated either. I want to give it awhile, too, to see how it affects people in the long run. Seeing stories/videos of people having side effects is scary. Who knows if it’s true or not. But people that claim they could walk before hand and then struggle afterwards.

This is where I got to hold the media accountable. It’s known that they despised Trump and are now pushing vaccines down everyone’s throat. But seeing them prop up Biden as the greatest president ever as he stumbles through questions is laughable. It’s hard believing anything that comes out of them regarding politics or health concerns. None of it is information. It’s biased opinions no matter what views you have.

I had a friend from the military, older, who had taken the Anthrax Vaccine and got fricked up real bad. He now deals with seizures and it's permanent. I also have a ton of images of people saying they would never take Trump's Vaccine (hilarious) that are now saying we're killing people by not getting vaccinated.

I will take it in three years, which is long enough to see if there will be long term side effects or not. I might also consider taking it if the military mandated it to troops, although after what I saw with the Anthrax Vaccine maybe not.

“I don’t understand how our country has come to this.”

1. Massive amounts of easily available and digestible misinformation and disinformation
2. Highly politicized media
3. Lack of faith in any of the 3 branches of government

Only 6 months in to the Harris / Biden circus and everywhere you look, it's a clusterfrick. Just to name a few. The southern border, handling of covid, inflation, gas prices, voting laws, crime, and not to mention US citizens held in solitary confinement for 6 months as political prisoners in their own country.
I hope any of you that voted for Biden because orange man was bad are feeling the burn. God help us all, I don't know whether we will last 18 more months at this pace.

I’m enjoying watching you melt over it ;)
Cmon man honestly how much has really changed? Border was and still is a cluster. Covid was and still is a cluster. Voting laws it’s all about your POV obviously. Everyone predicted crime would rise during covid - but hey, notice a lot less rioting since Biden took over… Inflation was coming no matter who won. And the gov was funneling money into the economy with trump as president and they are doing the same thing with Biden as president.
Obviously Biden has a more progressive agenda and totally get it if conservatives don’t like that. Makes sense. But let’s not pretend it was sunshine and roses before he took over.
Oh and if you had money sitting somewhere making money it’s doing just as well now as under Trump or Obama. Take the advice I’m sure you gave libs 4 years ago. Just chill.

"Nothing will fundamentally change." - Joe Biden.

And they really haven't outside of some very small changes that will get immediately overturned by the next Republican President.

I will say, Dems are gonna get steamrolled in a few years and then we're going to see some serious problems because there are a lot of precedents being set.

Kind of the same thing that happened from Bush to Obama and then Obama to Trump.

Who gave precedent to spy on Americans? Who expanded on it?

Who expanded on drone strikes?

Who deported people at will on a whim? (Obama was considered deporter-in-chief)

Who set the precedent to ban certain countries from entry into America? (Obama)

Who built the cages Trump used to cage kids?

Now, we have a President who is actively trying to force people to show their medical history which will have consequences in the future but worst of all?

Big deal here:

Trying to start banning people from social media based on what they feel is "misinformation".

That's gonna be a doozy when Trump or DeSantis take over in 2024, because they will use that to their own ends and abuse it just as the Democrats would.

tl;dr they're all the same lol.

That and the liberal wokeness that is plaguing the US. Innocent until proven otherwise is no longer a belief anymore. You only get shown half the story in the media that is 100% biased and lead you to believe that one person/group is the victim while they’re really the instigators.

Cmon fellas. Republicans and democrats in office all do stupid stuff. Biden ain’t gonna make it any worse than trump did. Don’t let all that crazy misinformation floating around radicalize you. Both parties spend money the don’t have really it’s just a difference in philosophy on where that money goes.

And yes almost everyone except the extreme woke hate wokeness. Just like I shouldn’t say all conservatives follow q-anon not all liberals are woke lol.

Everyone relax. Football season is almost here and then you can forget your big political problems and worry about 3rd and grantham instead.

Bush was the worst President for Tyranny, I'm not propping up the Democrats, they're both terrible parties.

However, President Biden may be the first that has tried to silence something in tandem with social media, and that is an extremely dangerous precedent.

We don't want a guy like Trump, hypothetically speaking, having the right to suppress "misinformation" on social media, and the problem with precedent is that it can be used by Red or Blue. If it's allowed with Biden, it will be wielded by someone in the future and they will have ever right to do so, just like when President Bush started up with overt domestic spying.

Once you let the cat out of the bag that's it.

Yeah spot on there. People that want Biden to push democrats in the senate to change voting rules for example are crazy. Talk about something that will come back and bite you.

Social media stuff? Idk. Someone somewhere someday has to do something to fight misinformation and disinformation. I don’t have the answer tho.

Desantis rant on Biden and Covid

LINK

Joe wants you to provide Covid vax papers to participate in society. But providing ID to vote is racist. All the while, providing an ID to purchase a firearm is totally fine. Both of which are rights provided by the US Constitution.

Is $25 for an ID for 7 or so years that much of a burden for some folks? Less than $4 a year.

I'm glad I live in a country where the President doesn't give two fricks about COVID.

I mean, the guy is still a moron but at least it's free and easy to go wherever you want, even in Mexico City.

We actually had a bunch of people die from the subway crashing (bridge collapsed) a few months ago that had everyone really pissed off lol.

Feminists have destroyed a lot of stuff downtown, painted on stuff, broke other stuff, pretty wild.

They just cracked down on a lot of black market stuff (cigarettes and other materials).

They also had elections, but pretty much everyone feels like they're the same no matter what.

I'm personally miffed because they made one of these disgusting markets in a park near me and they have it blocked off. A lot of local corruption, the mayor basically bought these kiosks with government funds and then sold it to these people who don't pay taxes, and have given them private police officers to protect it.

Why crack down on black market stuff like cigarettes that seems pretty random given the corruption you describe.

Nice to know feminists are angry everywhere lol.

I’m picturing you as the guy from ozark now. Do you work for a cartel straws? Lol.
