I did see some positives from some of the younger guys...
Who is this Bogle kid? He seemed to never give up on any play. He might be a decent pass rusher in the future.

Wright never gave up and ran hard. He’s gonna be good for us.

Emory looked really good as well. He never really should’ve been pulled after that one TD drive. You could tell OU wasn’t prepared for him.

The one thing I hated seeing were so many dropped passes. My lord, how many did we have? I saw one from Trask that hit the receiver wide open in stride on a post pattern. Dropped due to incompetence. One thing I noticed was that a lot of them are trying to catch with their chest and not their hands. WTH is our WR coach teaching these guys?

Mullen seems to prioritize seniority in two aspects - coaching and playing time.

I think the only example where that hasn't been true is literally Kyle Pitts leap frogging the entire TE room before the start of last season.

Eh... looking good running the ball. Throwing on the other hand (aside from the back shoulder to Whittemore and the deep ball dropped by Shorter), Jones actually looked really bad.

I saw literally no one on defense that knows how to play the run.

I saw no pass catcher that can consistently separate and catch the ball.

I saw the future qb unable to complete passes when needed.

I saw defensive backs that can’t cover.

We learned today this team was smoke and mirrors. It was trask, pitts, Toney, and grimes. When they weren’t playing all together this team was average.

Next year could be painful. Coaching and culture changes needed.

We were missing two key DTs who clog the middle and stop the run, Kyree Campbell & Tedarius Slaton, although playesd some in the 4th qt??? Maybe he saw how embarassed we looked. As soon as the game started...I saw those two missing and knew we were in trouble. OU can be all smug about us...but it was like beating up a 15 yr old.

I watch games intently and look at every jersey number making plays...good or bad. You needed a list of 3rd stringers and walk ons at times...saw guys on the field who never play except maybe on special teams. WRs who had hands of plywood or TEs like Gamble.

Why were they missing? Cause they didn’t give a shite.

I agree Slayer and Im hung over from last night and my liver hates me. Pitts, Grimes, Campbell, Slaton (except a few plays in 4th qt) can all kiss my azz. They dont appreciate their team mates, their coaches, their school or their fans.

Society is so selfish now...its why freaking people load up their shopping carts with toilet paper, paper towels and disfectants....screw everyone else.

Lsu had half their team out and still won. This team had no heart or toughness. That comes from the top.

He threw a couple of balls into the dirt and those players were like, a couple feet away and some change. Outside of that:

He has the same limitations as Franks, with the only benefit of being an agile runner so he can do some stuff.

However: Doesn't see the center of the field well, can only really hit one type of deep pass on the perimeter and has to throw to the outside every down. That's gonna lead to our offense being a lot more similar to year's past.

Richardson on the other hand, had his first TD pass...right down the pipe.

I'll be interested to see how short the leash is with EJ next year with AR waiting in the wings. One would think given that AR fits the Dan Mullen mold he wouldn't hesitate to play him over EJ (if he is indeed better) the way he hesitated to play Trask over Franks.

Dan's ego will strike again, he's had how long with Emory to get him ready?

Look up the reason Dak Prescott started.

Look up the reason Trask started.

The dude is infatuated with playing mediocre Quarterbacks and running them into the ground before changing them. The only reason we saw Emory over Trask in the game was because our passing game was completely gutted and we had to run to win (and lost miserably).

"Prescott began as the backup to Russell again in the 2013 season, but took over as the starter when Russell suffered a concussion." - In case you couldn't find it.
