Stetson Bennett doesn't deal with real pressure well while he is the highest ranked SEC Passer when not throwing under pressure. Same with Daniels. I want Grantham out of here just like everyone else but his history as a DC at other places was to have some real good defensive games in addition to the 2 or 3 he fell apart in those seasons. If we can figure things out for this game and hold them to the low 20s we will have a chance.

Some people are claiming that Jones is getting most of the 1st team snaps but Richardson is getting more than the backup usually gets. If true Jones is almost certainly starting the game. If he does struggle again we have to hope Mullen has a quick trigger and doesn't wait until we are down a few scores. I doubt we have much of a chance to come back from a double digit deficit against that defense but after watching the breakdown of the Richardson plays against LSU I think he can get us into the 20s. As long as our O line can hold up just a little against a 4 man rush anyway.

Running up the middle is a waste of a down against the mutt defense. QB keeps on reads. Challenge the mutt line backers with passes to backs and tight ends. Blitz the crap out of Stetson VXIII. Play the QB that gives us the best chance to win. Stop making stupid penalties and mistakes. Go Gators!

Run the wheel route and see if it still works because they sure could not stop it last year.

I hear you on the pressure part. Grantham usually has some cats who can get after it. UGA has only given up 4 sacks all year though and if JTD is playing he does a great job of sniffing those out and getting it to the hot route.

Only offense, and this is not your strength, but you need to be able to stretch the ball vertically. We haven't really faced anyone who could do much of that but we have young DB's who are athletic but not very experienced.

And Clemson tried the wheel route and it got shut down with a quickness. I fully expect Mullen to come up with a new wrinkle that hurts us though.

Like sitting Richardson or Copland to rest them for next week. That should really confuse you guys.

Richardson can stretch the field vertically in addition to the other headaches he creates for a defense. I just hope Coach Mullen switches to him quickly if Jones is struggling.

That's true. Are you guys worried about him throwing interceptions at all?

I'm worried by the time he gets in the game will be out of reach.

Not that much. He should get better at taking off or throwing it away the more snaps he gets.

I'm definitely curious to see how Mullen uses them.

Start the game at 8am and don’t tell UGA. That’s it…that’s the only chance we have.

Mullen’s going to start Emory, we’re not going to throw it down the field, he’ll take too long to get AR in, we’ll throw at least 3 picks, Todd will look like some defensive idiot who is trying to smell the number orange, and Stetson will probably throw for 350yds (assuming Zamir White doesn’t run for 250 against us first).

Unless Todd brings the house and hurts Stetson like last year or Trask, Toney, Pitts, and Grimes play under alias, it’s going to be a long afternoon.

Nah man. This is a rivalry game and crazy things happen. Mullen has had this game circled every year since he was hired and knows the importance of beating UGA to keep the fans happy. He'll find some wrinkle and try and exploit it like he generally does vs us. I look for him to be run heavy to shorten the clock and try and wear down the defense.

Now Grantham on the other hand. We average 30+ points against him ever since he left UGA. I have no faith that he'll have any answers.

I doubt our standard rushing attack gets a bunch of yards against this defense due to that NT clogging things up. How he frees up other defenders will make it hard on our rushing attack.

We have to attack down the field more and roll Richardson out some to allow him time to hit some passes and burn that defense with his legs a couple of times.

You’re going to have to try and get to the edge and work in some screens to get the LBs tired and to keep them from cheating inside

This Florida team is shite. No true mlb. Shitty safeties outside of Torrance. And the coaches on defense couldn’t out scheme a high school coach.

Only chance is for mullen and Ar15 to have some kind of transcendental game both with play calls and play in the field and even then it’ll be close cause Georgia is going to score a lot.

Don’t think there’s much we can do. AR must start first of all. Outside of that, we need UGA to make stupid mistakes like muffing a punt, costly penalties, dropping passes, etc. This team is just very average and UGA is very good. It’s going to be a blowout.

Way closer game than people expect. We are going to come out ready to play. I guarantee we score more than anyone else has on them.

This game could go 2 ways, this is the best scenario.

Gators win a tight one. 31-28 or lose 35-17. Who knows?
