This is directly related to the info we got a month or so ago about an alleged incident. They have been tight lipped about the whole thing and the case may be more serious than previous thought. Treon's return is looking less likely. Callaway is up in the air as of now.

Josh Grady put out on twitter "Hate to see a good kid be corrupted by their friends...Bad company ruins good morals..."

See previous "something going on with Callaway thread"

Seems like there's never any good news about our star athletes anymore.

Pretty sure Calloway was cleared last I heard.

Did something new come up?

The last I heard he was also clear legally but he is still in the dog house per the University. Supposedly the details may be a little different than what was initially put out and there actually might be something to the accusations. Someone contacted the UF Registrar they still have Calloway enrolled as a full time student and they were not allowed to disclose status of Harris.

Last thing I heard today on Calloway is he will most likely miss until the fall and then be suspended a couple games.

LINK

Mac's spring presser. Very tight lipped on the situation and seems pissed when they ask about it. Not really a huge fan of this press conference. He talks down a bit to these guys trying to do their jobs.

Who could blame him?

The UF media LOVES it when a football player screws up. They blast it all over the place and blast the team in their reports and articles.

How many times can you tell a fricking group of morons that you will not have anything else to say about it and they still keep asking? I would reply with " are you freaking deaf? There is a school in St Augustine for your condition" Next.

The simple fact is that federal laws prohibit too much information about students, athletes or not, from being revealed to the public....unless a signed release is given by student/parents.

Do we need to know? No.

Huntley Johnson just released this statement to outlets on Antonio Callaway.
"On January 27, 2016 the University of Florida suspended Antonio Callaway for a violation of the Student Conduct Code.
The suspension was due to an incident which supposedly occurred in early December 2015.
Mr. Callaway is on interim suspension from the University of Florida pending resolution of the accusation. At this time the University of Florida has not presented to Mr. Callaway or Undersigned Counsel any evidence relating to Mr. Callaway’s suspension.
Be that as it may, the law firm of Johnson & Osteryoung has conducted its own investigation as to the allegation that is the basis for the suspension. There is no good reason why this investigation has not been closed. This allegation has no merit."

If Huntley is on it, the issue will get worked out.
