So Pickens is for sure out? That's a big blow. I want everyone health so there are no excuses for either side.

Lecounte, Davis, and Pickens are all major contributors. Davis is a monster in the middle. Missing him hurts their run defense and ability to eat up blocks for blitzing LBers as well.

Davis will play. He will put a cast on and still plug up the middle like he always does.

I have to say that being in my upper 50’s the team just north of us has and always will be the team I want to beat the most. They seem to win when we really really needed the win.

Same. I hate FSU, but Georgia is a deep hatred. Watching them cry makes me feel complete inside.

Looks like Pickens might get to play this week after all. Wyatt will slide over to NT if Jordan Davis can't play but they said they may have a package for him in case he can help out a bit.

That will help for UGA and I think this game will be very hard fought either way. Can the UF defense play at a high level for the 2nd straight week?

Pickens will be an issue if we man up. The biggest worry I have is our linebackers are not good in zone over the middle of the field, and zone is the way to stop Bennett. He is absolutely terrible against zone. He stares down receivers and he only checks down if the check down route is within eye level of his initial read.
So we need to find a way to zone with our LBers limitations.
My idea would be eight in the box with the safety in the box covering part of the middle zone area.
Have three big guys in the front. Campbell/Slaton/Dunlap would work fine till Carter is back. Use Cox or Moon on the outside in contain(Cox did very well last week doing this finally). Have Stewart as well close to the line and able to cover the second middle of the zone if the concept calls for it. That way any zone concept we have two guys who can play the ball well in the middle of the field while still being able to attack the run to a decent degree.
Last year we did very well on first and second downs..then Fromm and Cager beat us. If we can do that again..Bennett will not most likely be able to.
When we blitz we still need to keep zone principles. Man coverage is not a good idea vs Georgia.
