That was a solid press conference. No weird excuses or things just straight up and sounds confident. That’s good to see. He did a hell of a job today as a coach.

Can honestly say that there were no weird funky Mullen decisions that costed us the game like their normally is. I think we are getting closer to being a consistent top 5 program than we have been in a decade.

He is building a championship level program. We just need a recruiter that can navigate and take full advantage of the NIL rules.

If he couldn’t sprint all out, he had no business being in that game.
And his MRI came back better than they thought, but iffy if he’d hurt it further.
Honestly, if he’s still iffy, I’d hold him out again this week, and bring him back for UK.

I'm glad he didn't play vs bama. Of course I wanted the win but if keeping him out means he's healthy vs Kentucky and georgia then Im good with it. Bring him back out vs bama in the sec championship game

I beg to differ. the call was an option up the middle. You don't run the ball between the tackles that close to your endzone with Bama stacking the box. And why have the option in the middle? spread it out if you're running the option otherwise hand it off deep for your RB to make the cut to the appropriate hole.

mullen said it was a misalignment on the OL. i also believe it was on emory for not committing to handing it off or keeping it in time.

Bama LB/DE played it perfectly causing Emory to hesitate. I think he wanted to keep it pre-snap and when it was defended well he hesitated for a second or two which closed the window on the RB finding a seam.
