Plays like that need to gain yards.

Complete second and third string is in, just cruise to a (hopefully) shut out.

I'd rather our backups get real reps, too, never know when they're going to be needed.

Trask is miles ahead of EJ right now, but we can't know since pretty much the entire first string offense is on the bench.

Trask looks a lot more comfortable in the position, even with that one terrible pass.

EJ's legs really, really open up the offense, though.

Our OL is going to be a problem this year. They can’t seem to get any push . Mullen is going to have to have to find a way to get the offense going with out the running game.

I’m happy the defense tackled better and we shored up the turnover issue.

This year Mullen needs to pass to open up the run.

Key takeaways from this game:
Franks is the clear best QB on the team
OL can't run block for shite still
Skill players are solid
Defense is boom or bust, and seems weak on the edges, especially to wheel routes - but overall a disruptive unit and will get a lot of negative plays this year
Special teams are solid

Just have to stay healthy and hope the OL progresses and UF should challenge anyone on the schedule.

Why didn't Taylor and Stewart play today at safety?

Taylor is hurt and Stewart was suspended. Stewart SHOULD be back for Kentucky (assuming he doesn't do anything dumb this week)
