I have noticed that depending on what team a player commits to can affect his rating. If a player commits to UG of Bama, he must be a 5*, if he commits somewhere else he's a 4*.

Fk rankings, fk stars
I just want a guy who Makes plays
We got a 5 star DB getting moss’d every week. Just had a 4 star DL leave after a season with .5 sacks.
Our best OL the last 4 years was a 3 star.
I’m not getting hyped up anymore over star rankings. Show me on the field

The last time I heard this take was at a Gator booster dinner with Dan Mullen saying He'd prefer a team of 2,3 stars that give 110% than full of 4,5 star entitled players that he cannot motivate. In theory it sounds good but our results against the likes of UGA show differently.

We just need to accept the fact that fans care more about a specific team or school than most current players.
