so the latest "nugget" is this:
Ole Miss AD asked Lane point blank what his intentions were... Florida or Ole Miss.
He made it known that if he chose Florida, he would not be allowed to coach the Egg Bowl or the playoffs.
Ole Miss fans/"insiders" believe Lane nodded towards staying with Ole Miss without signing anything.
Florida fans think any ultimatum like that would make Lane choose Florida.

That’s not even the full quote. The Lane dream died Friday at about 1:30 PM CST.
And by the fricking way since nobody is paying attention. Lane will not be working for the athletic director that got his brother fired. What’s so hard to grasp here? The Kiffins hate Scott. Lane isn’t going without Chris and Chris isn’t leaving as long as Scott is there.
