Florida would be 6-0 with that schedule

With Napier sabotaging his team every game?

I don't care if Cignetti will be 64. If UF could get 6 or 7 good seasons out of him. He is 125-35 overall as a head coach.

Cignetti,
Would be Napier and Mullen 2.0
I like Chadwell much more then Cignetti

Chadwell is 116-58 overall. And has no experience in the Sec. Cignetti was on Saban's staff at Bama. From 2007 to 2010.

Indiana looked good today.
Still not totally sold on Cignetti but he definitely strengthened his case today.

Eh that was so long ago that really doesn't mean much for 2025.
Cignetti does have some tangible characteristics that make him appealing, but what he did over 15 years ago as a Saban staffer is not one of them...
Plus we've hired enough retards from Saban staffs before as HC to know that that isn't the end all be all.

Cignetti is more compelling than either of those losers (Napier and Mullen that is)
But he does have a lot of question marks that makes it hard for me to go all in on him.

Cignetti has IU rolling this year. He brought in a bunch of his JMU transfers who have played in his system for years.
How could he do year to year building a program.
Or is he a Jedd Fisch 2.0, one good year every 4 seasons type dude?
Too many questions, not enough time for answers.

He's won everywhere he's been. 125-35. You can't say that for Kiffin. It doesn't matter anyway these dipshits that run the UAA don't really want to fire Napier.

He's coached in the d2/fcs for a long time, never won a title at that level?
Yes he's won a lot of games, and I think is a good coach. Still have question marks about if he can scale that success to higher levels.

100% true.
But Kiffin never coached at the D2/fcs levels. He was nearly half Cig's age coaching at Blue bloods and in the NFL.
Would Cig have won big at Oakland in his 30s? Or at post-sanctions USC?
Its an apple to orange comparison imo, but not totally invalid as it's true Kiffin has not won everywhere he's coached and Cignetti has.
I like Cignetti as a candidate too, for the record, but just am not convinced he's a "can't miss" candidate just like Lane is also not a "cant' miss" guy either.
I'd be fine with either.

Got a bad feeling Napier will be back if we beat Kentucky tonight.
4 wins, and then 5 wins against FSU.
They'll harp back on the "hardest schedule evar!" propaganda and justify keeping him again after going 5-7

SOS with him, poor play calling in red zone, poor special teams and of course poor end of half clock management. We got the ball with a minute and a half and didn't even try to move down the field for points.

Might as well shut this board down because I have no doubt Napier will be here next year.

We have talent
We just need a non-retard coach to utilize it.

I've had more girlfriends than Indiana has bowl wins. What he is doing there is nothing short of impressive.

Especially if you watched that game yesterday. Indiana is well coached. They had great execution of the plays that were called. No stupid penalties. No shooting themselves in the foot, over and over again.

I think there's no doubt he's got some boldness and that he can coach X's and O's, but could he do what he's doing at IU this year more than once? Or even every other year?
Yes he'd 100% would be better than Napier as a game day coach. And he did build a good fcs and sun belt program. Undoubtably what he's done at Indiana is remarkable, regardless of how it plays out with the meat of his schedule coming up. But how does year 2 look? Is he going to be able to win 7+ games or will it take a big step back?
