Lets hope redshirts Marks and Weston turn out to be the real goods...we definitely lose a chunk of WRs for this year. Im glad to see Jacob Copeland turn out well after a r/s and he can be a star soon.
I think we will have key players recruited for the 2020 class that will be the building block for the future. The main thing is getting them developed.

What we need to recruit right now is bookend rushers we are losing Greenard and Zuniga and have basically nothing behind them maybe Carter gets better but believe he will be inside next year and Chatfield may not work out at Florida(has not played much at all) and will probably have his name in the portal after the bowl game

Isn’t Chatfield a true freshman? I’m not sure how you can say a guy like that may not pan out when he hasn’t even been at Florida a full year. Unless I’m wrong on his age.

Yes, this is Chatfield's first year playing (was in several games last year but kept r/s intact).
Some folks think the yellow school bus drops off ready to play SEC football types at the entrance to Ben Hill.

Can we P L E A S E stop with this bs everytime a player gets the short end of the snapcount in a game?

Yea we've got the rushers for sure, just young. Last year's class didn't live up to hype overall because of issues but the LB group was an outstanding class.

I heard Del Rio was suspended for tonight’s playoff loss. Supposedly he and the stud WR got into a fight last Friday with some basketball players.

I just watched him throw a touchdown pass on this online stream

Looks like they handled it in house then. Sorry for the confusion.

Got the Pouncey boys

Jordan is a transfer, Ethan is in the 2020 class. Ethan is a DB, Jordan is a WR (which we will sorely need in 2020).

Penn State has a five star WR leaving for the portal. Hoping we jump on that and land him.
I've heard Grimes and Toney are leaving possibly...that is brutal. Was really hoping Grimes stayed another year to work on things before going pro. Our WR core is going to be insanely thin if Grimes and Toney are gone. Like brutally thin.

Hopefully they get told they’d be better off waiting a year. Solely for us. If they get good news and go then god bless them.

Grimes is making a couple million dollars mistake, Toney is just an idiot. There's no NFL team in the country that would take a chance on him with how many times he's been hurt and how few touches he's had. He's an explosive player but lacks football IQ.

Agreed. Neither are getting drafted high. Puts us in an absolutely terrible position though. We've got Copeland, Wells(unless I missed where he left too)...and a couple of three stars I believe...that's not good. Pitts of course will help the pass game he is a nightmare..but man its a big drop.

Well we got the Pouncey boy at Receiver, too, the transfer so it'll look like:
Wide: Pouncey
Wide: Copeland
Slot: Pitts
Slot: Zipperer
We're actually not that bad at WR. We return our entire OL (at least they were decent in pass protection) and Pierce will be starting next year.
With how weak our schedule is, we could have a pretty good goddamn year next year.

I think we should be favored for the East if Fromm leaves. Defense secondary will still be a concern but we have some young talent there. WR and DB are my biggest concerns next year. Is Copeland really ready to be a number 1 receiver? He has the talent but his routes and hands are still not all there yet.

I thought pouncey had to sit a year?
Regardless, if grimes AND Toney leave uf is in trouble at wr and better hope the offense can run the ball better or hope a young receiver breaks out during camp.
