I wouldn’t be surprised if some 4-5* recruits erased us off our list yesterday. 1-2 against the top 10 isn’t that impressive of a resume.

South Carolina would have all of the recruits if that's how this worked.

Florida is very easy to sell for playing time, and with Willie getting fired we'll be able to do a lot of work in Florida...

I hope.

If we don't land Smith's son that just shows how bad we are at recruiting. I mean a five star...son of a Gator great and the kid likes Florida. If we somehow can't land him...this staff truly is average at best at recruiting.

Really need some power recruiters this off season. I think we can all agree English and Knox are the ones we need to get rid of, correct?

I just noticed there’s on 2 OL on the OP list. What gives? We need like 10 transfers I think on the line.

I'll update tomorrow, I think we got another 4-star OL just last week.

Nothing has really been happening but I will for sure be more consistent with updates.

I’ll never call someone “not a fan” because it’s not my place to say what is and isn’t a fan, but I just don’t get this mindset or the sky is falling and recruits will cancel visits and the like.

We played terrible last week and lost by a TD.
It happens. Played better today and hopefully some things will bounce our way the next couple weeks. It’ll be fun to watch.

Go Gators!!

You are good straws, things have been a little slow with 'crootin, but I think we have picked up a few commits over the last month or so.

0-2 against the top 5 isn’t unheard of. We were competitive in both. 1-2 against top 15 is at least understandable. And Auburn played LSU closer than anyone has.

Go back and show me where anyone expected us to be 8-2 at this point. I felt we would go 8-4 with the inexperience on the offensive line and a tougher schedule. We had our backup QB step in and play better than the original starter.

Even those of you criticizing “Trask” every mistake needs to realize he’s only been a starter for a handful of games. And gets better each week if you ask me.

Recruiting should come around and we will get some good players. We won’t get everyone because the SEC has some damn good teams trying to get them also.

I've been pretty accurate with my predictions and I think overall recruiting is improving. We are getting blue chips (more often than not the last class, and this one will likely look the same).

I think the guys who criticize Trask are an incredible minority. It's actually pretty incredible what he's doing this season.

Can't wait to see him next season when he doesn't have to play 3 top ten teams in four games.

I predicted 9-3 with losses to LSU uga and Missouri. The team has played better than I expected. That’s what makes the uga loss hurt so bad. This was a potential play off team but the coaches shat the bed against uga.

We said the margin would be thin this year. As they get more talented they should have a larger margin for error. Hope they kill it on the recruiting trail.

I sure hope Strickland and Mullen don't think what was good enough at miss st is good enough here. There is no reason florida shouldn't be in the same tier in recruiting as lsu bama uga Clemson etc. Adding low 4 stars isnt gonna cut it.

Agree. I think Mullen is realizing this as well. He had to know the reason he lost to Georgia is he was out manned because his three stars don't match up well with five stars. I'm hoping at least we see a few changes to get recruiting as more of a priority.

Stars had nothing to do with us losing to Georgia.

We held them to the lowest yards per rush all season (~3 yards, which is phenomenal).

Our coaches shite the bed on both sides of the ball. Gonzales had our receivers wearing the wrong wristbands on offense as the QB, Grantham coached like an absolute pussy and refused to man up with Georgia and did exactly what I absolutely hate: Soft zone with little pressure against a future NFL QB known for processing the field well.

Recruiting isn't going to help a terrible gameplan, maybe marginally but not enough to overcome, most certainly.

I hate soft zone or any zone defense for that matter.. man up and cover your man.. the only way to beat a good qb is play aggressive on the back end. I've always liked the way lsu plays on defense.

Those wringing their hands til white knuckles need to get a grip. We had a large haul of OL last year and OL take time to develop.

Sure, we are going to get some more OL and overfill the pantry... but relax already. DL is more urgent and we already have several good ones.
