I must be the only guy exited about Nay’Quan Wright.

Or you could be a whining baby in spite of getting a former 5-star from Miami.

I'm perfectly content with the RB room, and think they did enough to punt that position away for one year.

Sorry, I may have misread the comments. I thought we were discussing how to get RB's to come to Fla. I am happy to have Lingard as well. I wasn't bitching, just offering what my pitch would be to a top RB prospect.

I think a lot of people are excited about the younger guys.

Just the louder story right now is they aren’t ready

I am excited about him and many of the other freshmen as well. We know there will be some that make a tremendous leap from their 1st to 2nd season. Many of them didn't go through winter workouts and Spring ball and that will be huge for them.

Does anyone have a list of who redshirted in 2019?

I think in this story people tell themselves lingard is not given a waiver.

Either way I agree I think it’s a little silly.

Even if Lingard doesn't get his waiver, who's getting the nod over, let's just say: Davis, Wright, Clement? All three of those guys will be bigger, stronger, faster and have time in the system.

I just can't see how a true Freshman RB does anything this season with that much beef in our stable.

Every year. It's something else.

"No five stars."

Gervon Dexter, Brenton Cox, Justin Shorter, Lorenzo Lingard.

"Blue Chip Ratio."

Went from 40% to 70%.

If you count the transfers who actually use a scholarship it's at 80%.

"Average player."

Highest since 2012 counting players who take scholarships. (We have some walk-ons and placeholder players.)

Now that all of those qualms have been exhausted, we've moved on to:

Well, we couldn't convince a top flight RB to come in at RB5 (at least, RB6 if Lingard gets a waiver) after having a terrible year at running.

RB recruiting has not been good outside of Lingard.
Every target has been missed on. Getting 6th and 7th options is not good.

We got Wright last because UGA did not want him.

Who cares?

Lingard is a homerun transfer in a position of need.

We don't need anyone this year, and even next year we have at least three guys who could start.

AND LINGARD.

Like what a really fickle mentality to get hung up on. "Okay we got a 5-star but he's not a Freshman >:(" Christ.

I frankly never get excited about any recruit or player until they’re actually on campus and haven’t committed some act to suspend them before the season even begins.

McElwain made me this way to begin with, and last off season wasn’t good for the turnover.

But Mullen could be figuring it out. We shall see.

I agree. Even after they get here you never know how they will adjust to being a small fish in a big pond.

Mullen has shown his merit with 2-3 star players. So it's fair to think he can do even more with 4 and 5 stars on the roster. So I'm def excited to see what the next few years will be. This man has far more talent than he did two years ago. Yet still almost the same staff to develop them. We gonna be good. Hopefully we have enough to reach the playoff in the next year or two. Next year def sets up very well for us the season needs to start already I'm already pumped.

Most project us to land a top 100 safety named Williams(stud). So your wish should be coming true but you never know.

I hope we sign who we think we will sign and don’t lose anyone. I’ll call that a win. I am sure that plenty of teams are trying to flip them as we speak.

Yea with the transfers and adding Henderson and Williams we have done very well. Basically got four top 100 and 3 five stars in a single class, transfers or not.

Then added 20 more four stars behind them. That's a studly class.

Quiet day today, wish we could have gotten a couple surprise additions, but didn't. Williams was a shock but we will survive without him.

I think Williams was swayed by the addition of Ed Reed to Miami.
Their coach is still nanny so I’m not worried about it.
