Apparently May 19th we're having a kick-off and some big names are coming that weekend. I don't have my hopes up, since I did that for the Spring Game and got disappointed.

It is a "cookout". The list is going to be impressive. Seems like a lot of our top targets. A lot of names that were at the spring game.

It's a huge deal, but I think people are sort of getting antsy and they want some guys to pull the trigger. People have been alluding all week that we're going to get a commitment on the 19th.
I hope that's the case, but the visitor's list is extremely impressive.

Willie Taggart offers Dionte Marks, Florida commit, and hilarity ensues.
I follow Marks closely, because no one gave him a chance in the beginning but now that he got his 4th star (will get his composite soon) suddenly everyone wants him.
Unfortunately, for anyone who actually follows Marks, all he posts is Gators stuff. He has weightlifting videos of him in Gators gear, he's one of the coollest recruits around and he realy, really love the Gators.

While I would be happy with a commit from about anyone on the list so far. It would be funny to see the 247 crowd flip out like the spring game.
Note: I am pretty sure that we have some silents and they are visiting very often.

There are some guys who have them in their Gator uniform as their Twitter profile picture. Not saying that it can't be a catfish, but I'm not freaking out because I know some guys are silent.
Nathan Pickering and Pittman both had them in Gator Gear for a bit before changing them, just as an example.

There are a few other guys, too. If Dunmore goes, I think it's all be done. Everyone seems to think 3 - 5 guys commit, but I don't know. I don't think it means anything if no one commits, but I won't freak out.

Jarmarkis Weston gets his fourth star from one of the agencies. He is the fourth Florida Gator commit to go from 3*s to 4*s. Pretty amazing that the staff is spotting talent before the talent agencies. I hope Abrams gets a bump (he should have already). Once 247 does their update, or gives the nod to them, we should have five 4*s. :)

A lot of the times the sites just wait to see their offer list and then rate them accordingly. Seems like UF is finding the talent before other coaches are though.

I think I explained this a few weeks ago because ESPN gave it to us. You are correct -- ESPN and a few other rating agencies basically follow the offer list. If the list has big schools in it, they assume that these schools have better scouts/studied more tape than them. That's why a composite is so important. However, a lot of times recruits can get bumps for attracting a bit more attention from these "lesser" sites.

I believe they said it was "invite only". There are some serious, serious heavy hitters, man. We're getting guys that didn't tell anyone they were coming either. (A 5* Receiver/ATH) Mullen is putting on a show.
