I'm surprised Mann continues to not get a lot of minutes. Kid needs some confidence but my goodness he has some raw talent. Hopefully by years end he is playing 15-20 minutes a game.

Well we have started out 3-1 against the bottom of the conference barrel. Up next is #4 Auburn, at LSU, and #2 Baylor. So it appears to be time to put our big girl panties on right about now.

I couldnt watch it today and we owned shite. Maybe I'm the jinx, not Pio. I'll watch the replay later to see it. That's a huge win.

I watched. My brother in law had the game on at my nephews birthday party today.

All I know is the two games I've missed this year; Long Beach State and Auburn. We won by a combined 63 points lol

So you want Mike White fired, but you relish in the fact that this team is improving?
Can you just admit you were wrong and that Mike White is a good coach?
I would respect you a lot more than just bashing the coach and then praising the team when they do well. Can’t have it both ways.

I want UF to be good. Simple as that. If White cant do it, then yes he should be fired. That simple. UF is all I care about. Now go back to trolling LSU fans horribly.
As for being wrong. We shall see. We've had two really, really good games in Xavier and Auburn, but we've also had terrible games like FSU and Missouri.
He is a good coach, but the question has never been that. It is, is he good enough for UF? Billy built the program to have a top 10-15 coach nationally. White clearly is not that now, but he may become it. This is the year we see if he can. He has the talent, has the depth, and the field is wide open. Now is the time he shows he can be in that next tier of coaches.
As I've said about ten times now. I was over the top last year, and apologized to the board. This year is the fair year to judge him. So as to wanting him fired, how we finish will determine that. All that matters in the end is UF having a great coach.

We’re not a blue blood. We need to have good coaches that can develop into great coaches, and Mike White may fit that bill. It took Billy D a while before he found his formula (2000 was a fluke in comparison to the years before and after). If we were as critical on billy d (some were) as we are on Mike White, then Billy D would have been gone long before doing anything great.
I know Billy D raised our expectations, but at the end of the day, we’re not a blue blood in basketball. When we’re able to sell out for every game and win many more titles, then maybe we will be. But until then, take the lumps with what we have. Now if Mike White does jack shite in the next 4 years, then yeah, time to move on.

You think 4 more years before we judge him? That seems a fairly large time. Billy did raise expectations I agree. Just like Spurrier. Which is why football has a very short leash now. Basketball shouldn't be quite as short for obvious reasons, but nine years as a trial period seems pretty large doesnt it?

This isn't a statement on White one way or another but it doesn't take nine fricking years to evaluate a coach even for a "non-blue blood," and I'd argue that even if we're not a basketball blue blood, we're certainly in that next group and that UF is certainly a top twenty basketball job

Billy Donovan had 5 straight years of 1st and 2nd round exits before figuring it out and building the 04s.
We ran with the fact that he made us runner-ups and it paid off.
Mike White made the elite eight in year two after inheriting a shite team from Billy D.
I just think you guys should lower your expectations a tad. It's not championship or bust, but the occasional year of making the elite eight or final four (and at that point, anything can happen).
Get off your high horse and enjoy the season. You guys are some miserable fricks.
