I feel pretty strong Copeland is ours. His recent comments about UF being his favorite, then Billy G being a coach before even signing him. Mullen calling him when hired. Jones pushing him. I really think he is ours. Just seems the ball is rolling that way.

I don't think so with Copeland, man. He just Retweeted ''Copeland to Alabama''. Van Jefferson got clearance to play, though, and I'm pretty sure Grimes will get it, too since he practically sat out the last year.

Edit: Tua showing that Alabama can throw is what's going to make the game changer, imo.

Copeland will be a Gator. Just go ahead and block him on twitter. He’s a troll.

Dude you have to stop following everything on twitter. These kids tweet for attention during recruiting. He will tweet UF stuff then Bama stuff etc. Gets attention to them. Don't live on anything that happens on twitter.

It's not just about Twitter -- but Tua. I think it wasn't a big draw if Hurts was the QB. That likely put them in a much better position.

If we can't believe anything he says, why should we fel good about him coming to Florida over Alabama? (Tennessee is lol.)

Because UF had been his favorite for a long time. The new staff should draw him back. If you can commit to that staff..coming back shouldn't be an issue with the new one.

Where you hear this? I think Copeland is going to Bama also as much as I don't like it... Tua BALLED OUT.

It's a rumor, I've heard that they both got clearance to play next year and it wouldn't surprise me.

Tua doing well is really bad for us, because he can go play for a championship team and streak down the field.

It looks a lot better than a team coming off of a terrible 4 - 7 season, and while I love the Gators I just don't see him coming at this point unless Mullen pulls of a miracle or he just wants to stay home.

Jefferson left Ole Miss who was on a bowl ban. Means he will get cleared. Grimes is possible. Moved for family reasons which the NCAA usually takes kindly too.

I can't imagine the NCAA punishes him for trying to be closer to his mother and having not played in a game the entire year. It makes little sense, so I think we get both of them.

Dan Mullen and John Hevesy have secured an official visit from Nicholas Petit-Frere.

The 5-star OT discusses his interest level in Florida, his thoughts on the new coaches and what he wants to see on his trip to UF.

So glad he gave us a visit. Puts us in the mix. Kid is very quite insanely hard to read where he goes.

I say we throw a parade for him when he comes in to town

Eh I wouldn't have a problem if Scarlett didn't come back either.

Him coming back would be pretty awesome. Kid paid for his actions. Deserves a second chance unlike Callaway who continued to screw up.

Scarlett and Davis...that's a damn good 1-2 punch.

The only OL we're getting a visit from is NPF. No one is visiting this weekend. Barnes and Richard haven't set up visits. The only date they'd be able to visit unless they cancelled another is 1-26. IMO they're going elsewhere. Outside of 2/2 we won't have more than 2-3 visitors on 1-19/1-26 as of right now. Niebuhr just CB'd Richard Gouraige to AUB
