Is Samuel a legit 5'10" or is more 5'7“-8“?

Doesnt matter. DBs have played as AAs and All Pros at heights that size....most of them can out leap taller WRs

I think the 18 class will be nice, it is early but we'll finish strong again imo

I agree. It's still very early in 2018. It seems like we are positioning ourselves nicely for a good class.

New coaches had to jump at the younger guys and start building that foundation for the future. Now they can see who they can grab on the fly this class.

Well Asante Samuel said he's choosing between Miami and FSU on the 13th, which means he's choosing FSU, because we're hardly recruiting him.

#1 class for 2019 right now.

Not that means shite.

Only one Georgia kid (Goss) for 2018 and the rest for 2018 and 2019 are from Florida.

Like Goss as an inline TE. Perfect size and long arms for short yardage run blocking and red zone target.

Top 2. I'd say UGA has a better 2019 class right now.
two 5*'s and two 4*'s beats four 4*'s imo.

Way too early. Especially for these SFL kids. 1 year is too much for most of them.

3 days before NSD is too much.lol

The early signing day in december should be passed though, so at least that'll mean like at least like 5-10 less ppl to worry about flipping in the final 2 months, and mean the coaches can put all their focus on the kids not completely locked in.

@Richt_TheU

What do you think is the reason that Miami always has a top class through the summer but drops off through out the football season?

I have an answer BSB...I think playing in a crappy conference with the likes of Wake, Duke, Maryland etc etc is disappointing to players/what few fans they have...when they play Wake at home they must try to give away tix to get to 20,000 or so. All three of those schools plus Pitt, Cuse and BC dont travel well. Having an off campus rent a stadium hurts morale and with traffic in Miamuh, you take your life in your hands driving on 1-95.

Oh I have plenty of answers from my perspective. I wanted the Miami fan perspective.

I think its pretty simple really. We had the worst coach in program history (Fat Al and Dorito) and just didnt win games. In South Florida recruiting you either win or recruits go to a team that does.

Make no mistake, South Florida players grow up dreaming of playing for the U and restoring our program to glory. Its just the truth. These kids have seen The U part 1&2 and idolize greats like Sean Taylor. But at the end of the day you need to win.

The attendance wasnt good but again thats because literally every cane fan hated our coaches. And the only way to force change is speak through your wallet. But either way in the early 2000s we never sold out every game anyways. Plus Our attendance was very good this yr, I think we had the highest increase in attendance of any school. Remember we only have 10k undergrads and our stadium is twice as far away as any other fbs stadium. However, Hard Rock stadium just had like $450M in upgrades and will be getting a SuperBowl again soon enough. Most people love the stadium and atmosphere now. Also anyone still saying Miami doesnt have money or something is just wrong. Were going to be breaking ground on a $32M IPF in August, and with the current coaching staff we are actually paying them good money. Since we've hired Richt and our BOT has committed to actually spend money the entire culture has changed. Youre not seeing the decommits like the previous years. Last yr a bunch of our "decommits" were drops that committed under Golden....but even that will likely change if Richt doesnt win. Also the aCC was undevatably a better football conference last yr and has always been top 2 or 3

I know you guys have the top 2019 class right now. If theres any way you hope to keep it, it 100% will be determined by winning - not just in the SEC, but you gotta win more than Miami and FSU. And being the Mclewain is your coach I doubt that happens. To me he's just like Al Golden, Butch Jones, and charlie Weis. At least Muschamp brought an elite defense and some great talent. Horsetooth is an offensive guy with no offense...doubt it lasts much longer.
