All part of the plan from the man named Dan.

Are Davis and skipper being retained?
Posted on 12/10/17 at 6:53 pm to TJGator1215
I really doubt it, honestly. I think Seider may be the only coach retained when it's all said and done.

Unless Davis pulls off a miracle going into NSD, I don't see either him or Skipper being retained.

Skipper for sure won't -- if only because we're switching to a 3 - 4. Our DC is going to want someone else.
Davis might be pulling in a major OL class, but I just don't think he's gonna stay.

Hevesy has been hard at work as well and with the Gators looking to sign at least five offensive linemen this cycle; he is all over the map trying to bring the best to Florida..... He visited with Nicholas Petit-Frere (#5), William Barnes (#59), and Richard Gouraige (#138), early last week in what seemed to be a positive trip. Gouraige is currently committed to the Gators, but is in a wait and see mode with the new staff. Barnes had a great visit with Hevesy and things may have improved with him after his visit. Petite-Frere, who moved up five spots in the Top247 from No. 10, will be a tough one to get on board, but the foundation is being laid.
Two Peach State linemen that Hevesy went to see last week would be big time gets and prospects that they will continue to recruit hard. 5* OG Jamaree Salyer (#12) and 4* OGTrey Hill (#68) are two primo targets on the line that Hevesy and company like.
From GC
Could be wrong about Davis as it seems Hevesy is the one hitting the trail with a vengeance. Trust the process either way as Dan so far is hitting the right notes.

I mean... anything is possible, but I'm pretty sure you're going to be too little, too late on these guys. If they don't go to UGA, it would be Clemson for Salyer and Auburn for Hill.
Probably going to need to knock out this class with in-state guys due to the crunch time of a short cycle.

No offense to you personally because I like your posts typically and you seem knowledgeable (and you're right in this case), but I don't understand rivals being in the recruiting thread on a team board

Four-star defensive tackle Noah Jefferson (@noahjefferson_ ) has named the University of Florida as his top school, followed by Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Arizona. Jefferson is hoping to take an official visit to UF around January 19th. #Gators

And I don't really understand why we're the only board who lets rival fans pretty much just come in here and troll us on our own board.
Try getting into any other big named school board and see how quick they are to accept people.
It's just bizarre how much the Georgia fans (this year in particular, not so much for the last decade) are all over this forum.

Noah Jefferson would be a quality player at a big position of need

Finally a DT. You would've thought they were extinct the way MAC and Co treated the position

Imo when we fill out the staff, we may make some noise before NSD.

If my comments in this thread are perceived as trolling, I'm more than happy to hop out of the thread. We have a few posters from other schools that hop in our crootin' thread occasionally to give us the pulse on shared targets often... Generally speaking unless provoked to respond otherwise, I've not trolled this thread to my knowledge. I believe the recruiting thread to be hallowed ground.
Hell... even outside of this thread, I've not outright come here and trolled. I've disagreed with people, but it's not like I come here, and create a thread just to stir up shite. You sure are sensitive man... hell... I've come in and corrected at least one shitty poster who was out of line from our boards over here.
As to not being here, pretty sure I only got access last season and upon getting it and posting once, think I forgot about it...

I love this pic. Hopefully these 3 can be standing on a podium in January within the next 4 years.
