It would suck to lose Manuel to FSU. It's funny, if you read their board when he committed all they could talk about was how overrated he is, he will be a bust, etc. Now? "Ermahgadd he has so much potential!"
Will be an interesting few days to watch.

Jaewon Taylor is making his decision on NSD. While committed to UF. He gone.

Read around the web - people in the know aren't worried about Taylor.

People in the know seem pretty confident on cleveland. You never know though.
He's been all over the place recently.
Pretty much the only place no one expects is Houston.
If UF does miss, it seems like Arkansas will be where he lands.

Not to be a debbie downer, and we're still gonna end up with a pretty decent class, but Grier really screwed us over.
Lackluster close to this class is 100% tied to the 3 game losing streak to end the season with Treon at QB.
Its ironic because we are in the exact same position we were in at this time a year ago.
Nobody has a clue what UF will look like next season.

UF could still close strong. You never know.

Yep.
After the Citrus Bowl, I was about ready to jump of the McElwain bandwagon because of how the team looked in hte last month of the season...
But nope. Its all Treon. fricking amazing 1 QB is the difference between looking like a NC contender and a mediocre team

Seems like we are pretty much swinging and missing on all of our major targets.
Anyone have any updates on who we may grab before signing day? Who are we gonna Lose?
The only guy I've heard that we have any shot at still is Cleveland, and I'm not sure how good of a shot we have.
I've also heard tons of rumors about guys who are gonna decommit, which happens every signing day.
This isn't the worst recruiting class in the world, but I've gotta say, we've done an awful job closing on big targets.

if you could have only one...Tyrie or Fulton who would it be?
I think need based, I'm taking Fulton. Especially since we don't know if we have a QB that can consistently hit the open receivers.

I'll take Cleveland. I think Fulton is the better prospect, but Cleveland is a very good one as well, and he's at a position of need. We've shite the bed on every legit WR target this year. We need to get one.
Also, we already have Gardner who might be our best commit in this class.

Fulton. He is a starter next year possibly and for sure the following year.
Swain and Hammond are solid WRs, but I'm worried about our CB depth.

No one before signing day. Pidgeon couldn't get into UF so we started going after JUCO OL Catalina
Possibilities on signing day: Simpson, Burns, Cleveland, Fulton and maybe Catalina (Grades might stop it). Based on the way recruits talk and troll its hard to know. If I had to guess
Fulton-LSU
Burns-FSU (Manuel goes with him)
Cleveland-UF
Simpson-Clemson (This one is weird)
Possible losses: Taylor, McWilliams, Joseph, Perine, Manuel, Nelson and Polite. I think we lose 3 of the 7 (Manuel, Nelson and Joseph)
I do agree not a terrible class by any means. We filled our needs. But I am worried about Depth at CB, LB and DT.
I do however am not sure what has gone on with the close on some top targets. Some say by allowing the guys to take OV's elsewhere once they were committed to us is one cause. Some schools dont allow that if you were offered a scholarship and if you do they pull the offer. Clemson, Michigan, OSU and Bama are gobbling up UF targets left and right. And have done a better job at getting Florida talent to their programs. We will see but I do think Mac can evaluate talent better than the last regime by far. A lot of our 3 star talent has since been upgraded. I do trust that we can develop players better as well. Future still is bright.

Florida really needs to hold on to shavar. Thats big. Fulton would be big as well for corner back as depth is short there.
Gotta win these battles if they want to win titles.

Rick Wells hudl looks solid. LINK
Don't know how to link to a tweet, but Derek Tyson (ESPN) tweeted a picture of Wells, Kerry Dixon and Tyrie Cleveland standing together and Wells is fricking jacked for a WR as well as being 6'2"ish. I like him as a 3rd, potentially 4th WR in this class.

Not treons fault. We all knew his limitations. More so on the staff.

It's always easier just to blame Treon.
In all seriousness, Fulton has to be the guy UF gets. It would be Tabor, Wilson, and Fulton as our outside guys next year, then the following year Fulton is probably #1 overall on the depth chart. I heard that the visit went really well with our staff and Mr. Fulton. At this point, I'm hoping the family understands UF will give him every chance LSU will at the NFL, but UF will give him a better education. If Fulton himself is the ultimate decision maker, you gotta feel like UF is in excellent shape.
