4th hand info (Really TIFWIW) Tez wasn't all that impressed with how UF handled recruiting him in terms of the new staff which is why he isn't already a Gator commit to being with

I don't believe for a minute that Ivey wasn't recruited the way he wanted to be recruited unless he was looking for handouts like get thrown around the SEC at some schools.

I didn't phrase it well. I just meant that he didn't have that instant click/connection with the new UF staff and wasn't "blown away."
Ivey is very "unique" individual from everyone who ever described him and his personality isn't typical for a 5*. Not a stretch to think that the new UF staff members stumbled as they got a feel for him.
I've heard that is what made him delay announcing for UF

AU just had the DE Prince Tega Wanogho committ alot of people are saying this will help us with the Cowart sweepstakes because the amount of DL/DE AU will have on roster. Like I said awhile back I think Davis is going to Auburn and Dillon will end up with LSU. Not sure about Cowart following Davis but some of you bring up really good points so I could see it happening. Lets not forget that Cowart said Fowler has had a huge impact on him maybe this will help us.

DE may be AU's weakest position going into next year. I wouldn't think a guy who just broke his leg, and is just about a lock for a redshirt, will have much of an effect on Cowart's thought process for early playing time, but I guess there's no telling

I agree his coaches however said he will be ready for spring practice. They might be "weak" at DE but they have alot of them. 12 DE/DL for UF and 19 for AU.

Auburn had more interceptions than sacks last year and no player with 4+. While we have a bunch of DL anyone who pays attention knows they are garbage.
Also Prince Tega and his one year of football and broken leg isn't going to come close to threatening Cowarts play time. Especially since he won't project at Buck LB

If the sell UF has is depth chart and play time y'all aren't getting Cowart. Our dumpster fire situation at DE basically means if Cowart doesn't start he doesn't deserve his five stars

Luckily thats not the only sell. Closer to home, favorite team growing up. His mentor played for UF. His coaches son coaches at UF. Luckily Muschamp is such a great coach stars shouldn't matter right.

I know, I'm just saying that early PT and depth chart is in AUs favor. Only perk of sucking this bad at defense
Most people seem to think AU so who knows. I still think CeCelia goes UF which easily makes that more palatable

I get the back and forth, but Gene and the other Auburn fans here have been pretty easy going. I know it's an anxious time for most, but let's not get in a tissy over things.
Bottom line is, in regards to Cowart, I have been told this thing is going to go deep into the night. He IS NOT committing to any staff tonight. That is not the plan. I said earlier I was still going to pick UF, but the margin was much tighter. When I got off the phone a little bit ago, I heard nothing to make me change my mind. I won't be talking to my guy again tonight, so I will stick with UF, but WM and TRob are working Byron HARD.
For UF fans, I have heard CeCe and Ivey are already in. I commented earlier that I had solid confirmation on Ivey. I got further confirmation on him and also got solid info on CeCe.

Wouldn't blame Cowart for wanting to go to Auburn and be coached by Muschamp.
