Most teams are in the position we are. Difference is most have no shot at playoffs. If LT gets hurt or struggles in big games (post ACC obviously). Bryant could have bailed them out.

That’s why if I were Dabo, I would have kept him for this game and played him so he couldn’t transfer

So they'd rather the lesser of the two play?

I don't think they are upset with the decision so much, but more so the process and how it was handled by their coaches.

Lots of people seem to confuse the difference.

I think that is what Dabo wanted. Bryant was smart enough to see that and is transferring. Really hope this bites clemsun in the arse. If blondie goes down, the clemsun crowd will be wishing they had an experienced QB like Kelly.

They'll turn on their cult leader in a millisecond if LT goes down. In a game. Have a feeling he already goes down outside of games.

No they won't. He's convinced them, and himself, that he's some sort of Demigod.

Did ya'll see or hear Dabo's presser on Tues? It was the weirdest dang thing I've ever seen. The interesting stuff starts around 9 mins in.

Dabo presser

Sorry about the taternet vid, but that the only place I was able to find the presser when I did a youtube search.

I've haven't seen Dumbo this discombobulated since we 5 bombed him. Comparing himself to God, all sorts of weird stuff. I've been trained in interviewing and investigating techniques and it was obvious that he wasn't being 100% forthcoming. Twenty four hours later, we knew why.

While I can't stand Dabo because I think all of his Piety is an act, he hasn't made many mistakes as a head coach. But he bungled this one.

damn ...ol Christopher Swinney had a mini-breadown in that stretch of the presser. He freaked and went to the default "when you don't know what to say - talk about God to distract the simple-minded tater fan" method.

the one player he singles out as he most "all-in" ever for the program since he's been the coach there - transfers out because he's not starting. Sure coach, whatever you say ...yeah.

Do we actually know what went down though? Because on the outside looking in it seems like he was just beaten out by a better player and now wants to transfer so he can play another year.

There are rumblings that TL was promised the starting job during his recruitment, and there was nothing the other QB'S could do about it

Not to be a dick but.. sounds like we don't know. And the only person who would know is TL and he'd be a fool to let that kind of info out.

We've heard the same rumblings about Fields being promised a starting spot but I know for 99% fact that's not true.

I hate to say this but outside of our fan base the public/neutral media doesn’t think Dabo did a bad job here

Ummm...you haven't been reading your timeline, I see. They're getting roasted by the media. Tahjy is having a damn field day with this, as well.

I have. Most think he did a good job of not playing him and allowing him to leave
