I’d say Frank. At least some parts of our football team is competent. Our basketball team is bad at offense/defense/FT

Will is the worst
Since he’s literally done nothing as a HC

But the basketball program is the worst

Will has had 4 years Frank double that. Frank took us to the FF but nothing since then. If the basketball program is the worst then the man that runs that program is the worst but damn if it ain't a close call.

Franks resume as a HC is much better than Will’s
His entire resume

Both coaches have done nothing, but Frank atleast took that team further than any football team has gotten (and will get)

That said, this is a football school, so Frank gets a longer leash because the fans aren’t as demanding

Basketball easy. They are poor in every facet of the game, in year 8 of a coaches tenure.

Will recruits much better,
Both are good on D (except b-ball this year)
Both are horrid on O.

I think it’s harder to break into the upper tier in football than basketball.

Right now ill say Frank. It is year 8 and and we are going backwards.

Lets compare Dawn vs Frank..

Dawn recruits the elite players every class. she coaches them hard and they win. She is always in the top 5 in recruiting. sweet 16 is minimum expectation. final 4s are always possible.

Frank gets guys who also are looking at college of charleston and tennessee tech..he gets alot of transfers who take time to develop. His bigs are always projects. he has made 1 nit and 1 big dance..

the final 4 run was magic in a bottle. it was an exhilarating 3 weeks but nobody expected it. 3 weeks in 8 yrs just doesnt do it.

Will on the other hand has had us in 3 bowls. And the case could be made that he has been snakebit with injuries. you need a fully healthy sc team to compete. he surely hasnt had that.

staff changes are being made. its surely a close call.

That's almost like "who is the tallest midget"...in the scheme of things it doesn't really matter.

It's not even just that he's been here longer it's the complete lack of anything to show for it save for one miracle run for a year in which we finally made the tournament...as a 7-seed.

Other than that there's basically nothing which is absurd.

I'm not asking Frank to turn us into UK, but I do expect to make a tournament with 68 fricking teams in it more than once in 8 years. This is especially true considering the SEC is a relatively weak (but getting better) basketball conference overall.

At least Muschamp has the excuse of having to compete in the premier football conference and against Clemson's recent run in a sport with little room for error. But to not be able to get into a tournament with such a massive field with the competition we face is unacceptable.

I agree Frank is not the guy but it seems like the failure of the basketball program is being overlooked due to our football programs failures. 8 years is long enough. A great recruiter can turn it around in 2 years.
