Relax, it looks like they are just using it as an abbreviation online. I’m not opposed to it and think that it could become popular and further differentiate ourselves from posers like So Cal.

It is a FACT that there is more than one USC. You have to separate our USC from the others. That is where you become unique in how you do it. If you don't, then you see the USCe which is way worse. I like the USCar, Uof SC or just South Carolina....and there is little to no confusion about "Gamecocks" like the problem the "tigers" presents. I think we should always go by U South Carolina and remove all doubt about who you are talking about....or the "Gamecocks". Define yourself or someone will do it for you.
