Potential Elliott staff via Tony Morrell on TBS:
Then Tony has lost his mind ... or is desperate to provide content, or something. I thought he was smarter than that.
Ellis Johnson - absolutely not. Why this guy gets so much credit is beyond me. It's always been about the talent he's had around him and the coaches he's coached with. He's never stood on his own and been successful. He's had some real shitty things to say about SCAR fans since leaving here when he was on his high horse ... and honestly, we gave up so many yards through the air when this guy was here that it was painful to watch at times.
Brad Lawing (Florida State) or another highly thought of DL coach ... Brad is not coming back here. It's been discussed. It would cost him so much legally, trying to make things right with the ex-women, that it would just not be practical for him.
Shane Beamer ( Virginia Tech) ... got waaaaaay too much credit for couping great recruiting classes while here. Fact of the matter is that he happened to be in the right place at the right time. Plus, he certainly has not torn-it-up while at Va Tech. And I'll say this. I like him, he's a fairly nice young man, but he's not big time head coaching material ... not right now at least. He just doesn't have the presence.
Jay Graham (Florida State) ... I'd love to get him back, but it's not gonna happen. They love him at FSU and they are paying him very well. He's settled in down there, has job security and stability and we can offer him neither of those things, long term, not right now anyway.
Craig Fitzgerald (Houston Texans) ... the most underrated loss of all from our old staff. Fitz was special. But Fitz is going to stay in the NFL no matter what happens with the rest of the staff at Houston. He is one of the most sought after S&C coaches in the business. We were lucky to have him when we did. Joe Con has been a complete dumpster fire. I couldn't stand being around him - what a loud mouthed dumbass. Zero respect for Joe Con. He's gotta go.
Marcus Lattimore (prominent off the field role) ... no doubt, it goes without saying. It's like duh. Lattie is going to play a prominent role with the program in one capacity or another. He's got to get his degree first. Then he'll have the time to be more heavily involved. They are bringing-him-along in a methodical fashion but sooner or later he is going to have to get coaching experience unless he intends to work his way up in the business on the admin side of things. Still, he needs some coaching and recruiting experience. He might make a good RB coach, although let's remember he probably needs to do some GA time first ... he's only 24 years old.

WhoTF is Larry Williams, he tweeted that we have reached out to Jeff Scott to gage interest in being OC under Mushchamp. Got to be a Troll. WhatTF. This is getting out of hand. I see no reason why they can't announce a HC unless that coach is in a championship game. None of the names being thrown around fall into this category. I hope this is going to be a shock (good) the world event.
Who is Larry Williams? Got a link to his twitter account?
There is no way in hell anyone would allow any new coach to hire Jeff Scott ... not after the things he has said about us on the recruiting trail. That has got to be the most bitter little frick to ever walk the earth.
Besides ...

Why is SC not chasing after Fedora?
Been discussed on the coaching changes board.
Nutshell- we beat him a lot, he runs his mouth a lot, and hs coaches in NC don't like him a lot.

Larry williams
He is a tater, I think. They must be just patting themselves on the back, thinking we would want one of them. It would not suprised me if Scott didn't make it up.
I am getting better at this. Sorry I left link off.

Fedora makes a lot of questionable coaching decisions. He's able to get away with it in his league. Wouldn't work against SEC defenses. Just my opinion.

24/7 has gotten this info and has run like a pre-Caitlyn Bruce Jenner with it.
I will be DONE with my extremely beloved Alma Mater in regard to football should we hire that little fricker Jeff Scott. The fat frick Brad and his retarded son Jeff were on a Clemson call in show not 3 weeks ago openly bashing the frick out of Carolina and trying to dissuade Herman from even considering our HC job.
If we turn around and HIRE that little shite after he openly trashed us...I seriously am done with the football program and with Tanner. Hurts to even say or think that...but that will be the ultimate betrayal in my eyes.

The Big Spur is reporting the Jeff Scott story as well now.
Here's the link:

From the article:

Auburn defensive coordinator Will Muschamp, one of the front-runners to land the South Carolina job, has contacted Clemson offensive coordinator Jeff Scott about a position on his potential staff, according to Tiger Illustrated.
Scott has worked as an assistant in Death Valley since 2008 and became Dabo Swinney's co-offensive coordinator last season. He has helped his alma-mater lead the ACC in total offense this season behind Heisman candidate Deshaun Watson at quarterback.
The unbeaten and top-ranked Tigers are averaging 37.9 points and a conference-leading 502.5 yards per game this season.

I was in high school when Jeff Scott coached our football team. I remember him talking down Carolina at the time and anyone who had a chance at the next level, he'd push towards Clemson. One name in particular he pushed towards Clemson was Marquan Jones.

I added another post below my first one with a link to the article and quotes. Appears legit.
I hate them both. Like...I can't even explain the depth of my hate for those two. Father and son can both burn in the hottest hell imaginable and I'd pay to watch in a slightly less hot hell and be happy to do it.
I honestly cannot even fathom the idea of considering anyone from the Scott family for a job..even as a janitor...at Carolina. They're poison, hateful, spiteful, dirty, have zero understanding of the word loyalty and most of all..they're fricking TATERS!!
Tanner better the hell not allow that to happen. His legacy hire will turn in to him being disowned by Gamecock Nation if the University doesn't have the sack to do it themselves.

This can't be true
Honest to God it is the most asinine thing I've ever heard of. I never could have even imagined that as a possibility. I'd rather have Kiffin and his "Alshon pumping gas" comment making arse than any member of the Scott family.
Gamecocks will burn the damn stadium down if Tanner allows both Muschamp AND Jeff Scott to be hired. With Muschamp and Scott inside the stadium. Hell, probably Tanner as well.
I just can't wrap my mind around it. WTF are they thinking???????
What actually kills me is that there are ppl commenting on the article that actually SUPPORT this idea of Muschamp bringing Scott with him. They can't possibly be genuine Gamecock fans. No way that's possible. No. fricking. Way.

Posted on 12/2/15 at 5:38 pm to Carolina_Girl
Nooooo can't lose him to them Brandon Mcillwain will most likely follow suit
Posted on 12/2/15 at 5:41 pm to mikeboss550
That's where I saw it. On a tweet McIlwain was tagged in.
ETA: McIlwain is from PN, too.
If this rumor has any legs to it and Mangus does go to Penn State...I hope to God McIlwain doesn't follow him there.
